i share my trance online, on the hub, on kazaa, n all that
and I'll give ppl songs if they ask me for them
but i hate it when my friends, who doesn't know when it comes to electronica and considers every genre to be techno, ask me for stuff
prime example: b4 ISOS3 came out in stores, I burned a copy, when the album came out, I bought it, and my friend asked me for the copy i burned...i think he's juss being a follower, because he have never heard of any of the tracks on the album, he juss wants me to consider him as a trance addict...fat chance!
i also hate it when people come to my house and see my trance song on the winamp playlist...then they say stupid stuff like "omg, u don't have dirty vegas - days go by or basement jaxx - where's your head at?!?! I'm gonna d/l that for you, it's a wicked "techno" song!!"
wtf...if i wanted it, i would have it already! |

i ain't gonna give mp3s or even their names to some hardcore metal dude who wouldn't appreciate those tunes for what they really are. i mean, he/she might like it, but it wouldn't be like sacred or something. if you want good tracks, go online and find them yourself, search sites, forums, etc... it's like giving them answers to the test...
and it'd feel so wrong to give mp3s with someone who sometimes listens to trance, yet is not a real *TranceAddict* |

| who are we to judge who is worthy to listen to trance? just cause we're on a trance forum makes us better than everyone else? so what if people listen to more than one genre? |

so i guess when you go clubbing and the dj drops a new track, its like giving answers to a test? i think not.... its called introducing people to new ... |

Agreed, you guys are always bitching about how all your freinds dont know what real trance is, so when they show a genuine intrest in it your to arrogant to help them? Wtf is up with that? |

well, i think you didn't understand my analogy at all. i "study", i browse forums, i download quality tracks along with some poor cheese on my 56k, etc. therefore i'm eligible to be introduced to new stuff. it's just unfair if i download all those songs, delete the bad ones, rename the good ones, cherish them, back them up, and then some rap bloke asks me to have those back ups |

I dont like sharing my stuff cos i spend ages on forums reading about new music and downloading or going out to buy the cd when a mate comes up and goes oh thats nice, put it on a cd.
then they tell you to throw on a few more tracks. After you put on the other tracks they turn round and say ur music choice sucks :whip: or claim they know more about trance than u :whip: that last bit really pisses me off. |
