Getting started (pg. 3)

I used to love drugs. Some other drug loving friends dragged me to swirl in 96, and I found it a really cool situation in which to do drugs. After this I would pretty much go do my drugs at events every week.
I've always been into the music. my uncle was a dj in Chicago during the mid 80's while he studied at Columbia , so I was always exposed to house music. he bought me my first decks and eventually gave me all of his records.
These days electronic music gets on my nerves. People are calling things new and modern house, even if they sound exactly like things made 20 years ago. Should I start doing drugs again? |

I still mix, I just haven't been inspired by anything musically the last year or so enough to record anything.
the going to a club to see a dj is over though, and it has been a long time coming. It's boring to me and actually represents everything I try to avoid when going out. it's all about sitting down in a comfy location and having a few bottles if wine, some food, conversation that you can hear about something other than that drop was sick.:p
you'll see when you get old...normal life is actually much better:p |

I can do that without going to a nightclub, if you can only dance in a club you are doing it wrong.:p
life changes, you guys will stop too one day so enjoy it. |

| It's true that going to a club is not always all that it's cracked out to be, but when you really love what a certain DJ plays, and they are at the controls and you have the confidence to completely submit yourself to them, well it's a great feeling. |
