Something just hit me some time ago. In Europe, there's a major difference in price at the movie theaters, depending on the country. In Scandinavia, the price for a regular movie (A Dangerous Method, as an example) is about 14.86$ while in Eastern Europe, the same movie is about 4.31$. With this, I might add that the cinemas in Eastern Europe are far more elegant and comfortable than the ones in Scandinavia, from my personal experience.
So, how much does a ticket cost in your area? Would be interesting to know. |

| Average price is probably around $11, 3D is around $15. Depends on the time you go, though, and the theatre. Could be a bit more, could be a lot less. |

17 dollars in the cinema next to my house, 8.50 if you're a student. That's about average here in Brasília.
Bloody hell, I had no idea it was so much more expensive compared to the rest of the world. It's not like we're loaded or something... |

| Depends 'which' cinemas. The smaller, independent ones are about $13, the bigger multiplex ones around $16-18 and premium $32 |
