I don't want to sound like a dick...

It's a great first track, no doubt.

But ya...

I personally dislike songs that lack at the very least some sort of melody.

The random voices that pop in is something I see in LOADS of tracks these days and this track also doesn't seem to go anywhere until the last bunch of measures.

Instead of using scales and chords to form a "story-line" you sort of just added more and more little sounds that, to me, sounds weird and lacks a certain "flow".

Good luck in the future though, this wasn't a bad start.

so this is what you did friday night eh marcussssss?

nice first effort dude.

Well-rounded on the production end - everything's in its right place - but yeah, it's a bit staid, nothing to make me want to give it a second listen.

Keep at 'er!

This is the only section that stands out because it shows both your creativity!

You need to inject some life into the rest of the song, the samples are right but it still feels a bit monotonous.

There is only one sample I really don't like starting at 1:46. You're repeating the same note 7 times or so followed by a higher pitch one. I don't think its the frequency of notes themselves but probably the chosen sound.

Looking at the big picture its one hell of an achievement for two guys who never produced before! Keep it up

keep em coming! thanks for listening guys. :)

I don't like the snare at all, sounds way too flat for the track. maybe try to layer it on top of something with fatter mids? Anyways thats just my opinion, not a bad first effort at all bud.

you're shooting yourself in the foot asking people for feedback here, atleast post on gearslutz, they'll give you some feedback about the mix. If the track isint your style thats one thing you can't control but no one can argue a record that sounds great sonically.

I heard high shelving increases blood flow and adds more shine.
