In a sense, yes, we can.
In every given group, there will always be individuals we don't agree with. There will be supporters as well as bullies. Knowing how to deal with possible disagreements and disarming bullies is, I believe, a sign of maturity and balance. Naturally, it's always possible that, at some point, she thought she doesn't like trance or this community enough to justify spending her time here. However, to say she left because of a few individuals even though her contributions were held in high regard by most of us... well, that strikes me as a bit condescending ("She couldn't handle the COR like we do"). |

Oh, I am sure she could handle it. It was probably more a question of, "Why bother?" For most of us there are few things less productive in our lives than our time spent here, and I bet she had better things to do, without all the flack.

This is true too. While I regret her leaving in the manner she did, it was entirely her choice. It seems that she put a little too much stock in a few individuals and that somehow colored her perception of everyone. I hope she comes back and I also don't necessarily blame her for staying away. It might be a little different from her perspective with her identity subjected to a lot of change in a short amount of time. Being attacked, as she was, probably doesn't offer much solace under those circumstances. |

she got attacked by me. thats about it. the rest of you seemed to think she was totally normal evnthough she thought she was lesbian trapped in a man`s body and basically attacked anyone who said good morning to her. |

That's not necessarily so. Normal is definitely not a word I'd ever use to describe her. I'm not sure I'd describe you as normal, either. I also don't think it's your fault; there were plenty of other people willing to disrespect her more than they would another member.
She's not pathological. She's no w_ashley or Bobby West Virginia. As far as "problem members" go, she'd rank relatively low on the list. She might not be normal but she wasn't bat- crazy, either - regardless of how she decided to leave. |
