Being completely honest here - by the time she left, Avana had become an utterly obnoxious self-parody who contributed nothing and made every discussion about herself. But, once upon a time, Adam was a very interesting person to debate with and a great DJ to boot. I know we only get to see a small sliver of someone's nature on a forum, and I know she claimed she was much happier now, but in TA terms, it really was as though the gender change effectively destroyed her personality, because she started posting much, much less in MD, posting far fewer mixes and spending more and more time in the midst of a self-righteous storm in the COR. Can't tell if that was just residual over-defensiveness from the original -storm she faced when going through what was obviously an extremely tough process, or whether becoming transgender allowed her to run riot with the white, middle-class male dream of being marginalised and minoritised. Even the mixes started becoming transgender themed.
Anyway, to the nefardec of 2011 I say: good ing riddance. By the way Jay, if she really was trolling and using transgenderist hardship entirely as a pretext to wind people up, she was a ing cunt. She doesn't come out looking too good either way, really.
I'd happily have back the nefardec of 2008/2009, though. Actually get a little nostalgic thinking of mixes like Solstice and Dream Of The Earth. I can remember listening to those in the final year of university while studying or chilling out in my tiny box of a bedroom. | i was way ahead of the curve coz nefardec's esoteric philosophical bull used to piss me off well before other people began to hate. my intolerance has a way of ensuring i am in the driver's seat of the hatemobile before passengers get on. not that i really mind her now though, i can't imagine how tough it would be to hate your own penis. |

+1-- Lira, you should be able to recognise a bigot (and hypocrite since she was bigoted about bigots lawlz). She would take offence at anything anybody said, (EVEN YOU), then spend ridiculous amounts of time ripping into them, or trying to prove that she was so special, and we were so ignorant etc-
I'm sure its not easy being transgender, but that doesn't give someone the right to be a ****, and also; If she didn't WANT she shouldn't have been on here constantly baiting people.
