I'll bite. My wife and I are about 15K CDN in debt. Nothing insurmountable, but we've been in a bit of a stall over the past year or so. Currently looking for extra part-time work to supplement my growing shiatsu practice - self-employment is a long road, requiring much patience. Rent's always on time, our credit cards and bills are always paid off at the end of each month and we have a fridge/pantry full of healthy, nourishing food. I don't want for much, so good health, a roof over our heads and the capacity to help others tends to bring a great deal of contentment.

congrats, first honest member of ta, da rest r soulja boys

I'm about £4k in the black, have never been in debt in my life and seem to be earning money faster than I can spend it, currently.

You asked.

i have student loan debt and credit card debt from when i was first out of school looking for a job/when i got laid off in april. as an au pair, i don't make much but it's enough to make my debt payments. all my living expenses are paid for though, so that helps enormously. about to apply to grad school, hopefully with a scholarship, so we'll see how that goes.

I still have about $22k in student loans. they're on an easy repayment plan, financed over a long period of time; so it's really just back-burner debt. no credit card anymore, and my truck is paid off. have about $16k in savings. otherwise, two mortgages (two properties, not 2 on 1 place). my deployment helped get me a little more financially stable.
