Waited over an hour to get in but decided to book it. I started lining up at 12:45 but it was getting too ridiculous.

Another decent night at FW, though pretty weird night in a lot of ways. Sardine level packed, which shows that Toronto has a love for MLA nights.
Enjoyed the opener and My Favourite Robot?, though it felt like the energy went straight from 120bpm to 124bpm in a hurry, and I know I would have liked a more gradual build up.
Lee Foss has a tendency to be unpredictable at times and boy was he unpredictable. I suppose his track selection and programming made sense in a way cuz both openers were banging out nu disco for a long time, and maybe he felt that he had to freshen things up a bit. He played more techier tunes, and some prog. For those that expected Lee to bang out the nu disco party tunes, there was a lot of disappointment. (though a lot of crowd seemed to enjoy whatever he was playing)
Lee was one of last DJs on this planet to bust out this tune though.
Last 45mins or so, he bust out the party tunes, and while I enjoyed the set from more chin stroker, pensive kinda way, I know I danced my ass off more during the both openers' sets. Of 3 times I've seen Lee Foss, this has to be the worst.
Oh, the Mutton Man always delivers (esp when he gets to close the night)

Got there late. What a rocking party. I can't even remember the last time I saw Footwork like that. It was still jamming so hard when I left at 4:15.
Lee played a decent set. Nothing mind blowing, but man did that party deliver!
Looking forward to Beyer in a couple of weeks!

I got in around 11:30 and the tunes didn't take long to get me moving. The place got PACKED fast. I wouldn't be surprised if the line outside stopped moving around 12:30.
First 30 minutes or so of Foss were super, but then the track selection took a bit of a nose-dive for me and I had to sit this one out. Wish I'd had the energy to stick around for JB closing the night, but as it were, I called it around 3. This day-job thing is turning me into a wimp :(

Techier Lee Foss? I wish I could've been there

Loved Rafwat and Chorniy's opening. My Favourite Robot picked up, played too hard too soon, and Lee had to transition from that.. IMO I would of started over with an intro, rather than continue to play a higher bpm. Was not feeling it; I really tried to get into it but even then it was too packed.
Other than Lee's dark progressive start the only other time I had a big smile was when the "ruffled vagina water" song was played:

lol Cribby how on earth do you come up with track descriptions like that? (don't get me wrong, I love it)

Also, mad props to 60yr old couple rocking it hard. Those two were heroes last night
