I'm using ECUFlash which is free software that you can use to edit your stock ECU map. It has a pretty wikid interface to work from and there's a good beginners guides on tuning that is suggested to read before attempting to go at it. I can edit my Air/Fuel map in 50rpm increments as well as 0-100% throttle load. I also play around with timing a bit - get that spark as hot as possible but not to the point where it will detonate.
Accessport is really good for plug and play maps but like all off the shelf maps they run a bit rich and conservative so that a number of cars with slightly different reactions will all gain power relatively safe. Custom tunes are definitely the way to go! Where are you thinking of getting it done at? For stage 2 is it just a downpipe required for you guys?
I put down 290hp to the wheels & 265tq on my setup in the fall. That's roughly 360 crank HP! All built by my hands and my tune! I know it can hit 400hp but my motor has 222k on it and I think she's gonna blow this summer lol.

i found the frame for 15 000 usd in germany
no motor and left hand drive :)
so my plan is to do what this guy did...Type r turbo
nothing in the world could touch this on the track

K20 is a nice motor... Civic egg is such a piece of , faster or not I still wouldn t drive one. My buddy has the mk6 golf 2.0t cold air, intake, chip and it s up some pretty fast cars... so ya need a track day
