funny that you cite a lack of interesting people as part of the problem and then note that var (an interesting person) is part of theproblem as well. |

Yeah its a shame that most of these idiots don't find him interesting because he is one of the few that is. |

As I wrote two weeks ago, much to my dissapointment, nobody came forward with anything in the thread quoted below..
If you want new people to understand what the c0r is about it is best to show by example (with key threads) -- otherwise you will continue to have n00bs post on general topics here (ex. their love of Trance) and then be flamed out the wazoo.
It was suggested to me in mid 2010 that an easy solution to c0r trolling was to use FB Connect (so ppl could post under their real names) -- but I would only ever do that if ppl can also register with an alias...as mentioned in the thread, many do not want their real names associated with their posts on here.
In closing, you can't be a bully in the playground and then later complain that nobody wants to play with you. :wtf:

Don't worry, I'm not going to Lira-esque / Emo-nou-trify this thread.
The reason I'm posting this is because I feel it is time for a "c0r primer/handbook" to help educate the n00bs as to the rich history of the c0r and some of the odd people that inhabit its confines; how its magical powers can benefit an individual one day and ruin them the next, etc. blah blah.
To make it easier to find these old gems... here are some tab-delimited text files (2010 and back):
Top Threads in c0r (View Count)
Top Threads in c0r (Reply count)
I don't know how much stuff actually got moved to the 'Classics' section area but you can look through there too :toothless |
