Little surprise:
Next to RANN I had DJ Strict make a Megamix as well. (going to include both in the release)

| I really like this mix, sounds smooth, still listening but, I like what I hear so far. |

Lol, if only I could.
Sorry guys, but trust I'm on it. It's a lot trickier than it appears - Aside from the BPM's scaling by more than 10%, as with all music, the BPM's don't solely dictate the flow and some of the tracks won't place nice in the obvious order of things. I also don;t want to get in to pitching them too much (and no warping) as it changes their energy (not to mention key). I think the hardest thing about this is that usually, when a track doesn't work in a mix you just get something else in it;s place but that's a not go here, and it's not like I'm able to resort to gimmicky things like quick stabs and drop them in, or just perc to perc transitions.
I'm hoping to wrap it up this weekend, and staying off TA to use as much free time to work on the mix. |

| Heeuuuuj. Strict put my track in front of the best one on this series :). From what I've heard so far he doesn't really master phrasing but it's a fun listen. |

| What you mean with phrasing? I'm not a DJ so this is new to me? BTW he's a big fan of you, he knew your name and rep. |

Guys,
I just did a compilation release "The Underground" as you can see in the promotion forum. Took me a month to get everything together
If you guys are up to it, I would like to do something similar here?
so 12 tracks or so, released as album, together with a 1 hour DJ Mix of them all.
The costs to get such a project on all major stores would be around 30,00 euro in total, for the project. which I'm happy to take. So there is NO COST for any of you. We could donate any revenue from this project to the FORUM or a good cause?
everybody would keep all rights on their production. And you don't need to sign any tracks over. you just donate the track for this release and are still free to do anything you like with it after that.
Interested? |
Did the deadline already pass? This sounds cool, good luck :D

Phrasing is matching songs on bars so they align nicely. I've been listening again and it might just be a mistake on my end haha. |

Sounds decent to my uneducated ears. Not an easy task melding this lot together.
Good luck Rann.....:haha: |

yeah the deadline has been past a while now. There will probably be another one of these compilations coming up again soon though.
I would probably contribute a track to something like this every 6 months, indefinitely. |
