Since I didn't do a NAMM '12 thread this year (sorry RANN :( ), I'll try to redeem myself with the Musikmesse '12 thread instead. First up, Propellerhead set to announce something big:

Looking around the web, a lot of people are thinking that it will be an iPad version of Reason. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

BTW, anybody going to Musikmesse this year?

if they made hardware controllers of their id buy it all, just saying.

Consider yourself redeemed! :D

The moment they figure out how to port logic to an ipad (or at least make the ipad a fully functional logic controller) I'll finally cave in and buy one that afternoon.

New Nord keyboard to be announced next week at MM2012. Hopefully it's not another goddam organ or stage piano.

And for all you fans of U-he DIVA and ACE, Urs will be presenting some new dedicated hardware controllers:

One self made in style of synth-project.de for Diva, another one a prototype of a soon-to-be-released ACE controller by Faderfox.

What's more awesome is that it is pocket-sized and the faux-keybed is actually a ribbon controller. It also doubles as a fridge magnet while you charge its batteries.

I wish I was a producer who could actually do real producer stuff like make my own synths, program them, ect.

Looks really cool!

...and it's another boring Nord organ.

would take you maybe 3 years to learn. IT is much like programming. The work has already been done by others, you just need to know how to use the code or parts in this case. The only people that actually make things are asians.
