its not over yet..i'm just on hiatus due to being busy.i'm not so much into tech house anymore as i am in my 90's phase picking up old records from the 90's that i'm missing. lots of garage, farina style house, a bit of tech house but not too much. tech house is fun because it is very easy to mix with on 3 decks due to being formulaic with relatively simple hooks and melodies.
you can make an average track awesome if you know how to.

I appreciate your 90's love. I get more euphoric discovering NEW 90's material than almost anything made today.
zyklon-jay saw Danny Howells live more than anyone on this site. He saw him 6 times by the year 2008. He's probably doubled that by now.

i very rarely go out to club nights anymore.
i have seen howells quite a bit though as montreal is one of the cities he always does 13+ hour sets at. The only guy I know that plays longer is danny tenaglia. in 2003 he played for 23 hours. i lasted 20.
most house today mimics the 90's quite a bit except with a slower tempo...i'd rather go with originals over badly sampled tracks.
