I would assume that Tiesto will be the headliner for Fri night like last year, and Armin, etc will be on Sat night. Still worth in my opinion, the experience itself. Don't know why you guys (Chris/Andy/Christine) wouldn't go, what else are you gonna do that weekend? There is yet to be another phase to the lineup, so don't jump ship quite yet!

I agree the lineup is somewhat weak, but still...Armin, Tiesto, Morgan, Tritonal, Markus are heavy hitters that will put on a good show.

Chris - Orlando does have a pretty good scene here...its Miami and Orlando that brings the best talent to FL. (yes Miami is better, pfff)

I dunno, I'm just so underwhelmed by the whole thing right now. I read on the CEO's feed that there's still some tech to be added to the bill, so I'll wait for that.

It's just so uninspired. They're taking us and our money for granted. $150 for a generic-ass lineup. To me, it's totally marketed at the 18-22 college kid demographic. I want some more mature sounding music on the bill.

And yeah, I know the scene isn't terrible here, but every time I hang in Miami for a weekend, I get depressed about Orlando, lol. Not just music and clubs wise, but everything down there is just better...food, access to beaches, weather (breeze), etc. I talk a lot of about Orlando but you know I love it, haha.

I know you, Andy, and Christine are mostly into trance, and the UR1 festival doesn't have any of that, but in damn, that lineup is beyond disgusting if you like house/tech-house/techno. It's like DEMF, but instead it's in Miami. I just wish EDC Orlando had a handful of those guys. And maybe some trance like Aly & Fila, JoC, Ummet Ozcan, etc. All the trance guys at EDC Orlando are the same trance guys we see at every major gig. I've personally seen all those guys more than once, some more than 5 times now. I want something fresh, you know?

Definitely agree with some of that ucforange. For the money they're pulling with the number of ppl buying tix this year, I wanna see more than this. How bout some Carl Cox, A&B, G&D, Mat Zo? And personally I was pretty disappointed that Super8 wasn't going to make it to EDC with Tritonal since they are touring with them during this time on a North American Tour. Hell, there's not even a Super8 & Tab date in the entire southeast. After seeing Super8 in Miami a couple years ago, I am dying to hear him again, the set he played at the Anjunabeats party gets worn out on my iPod.

WTF??? no tech??

ucforange sounds like your on the same page as me, I used to like trance but 90% of it is cheese to me now and days, I wish i could get off from work the monday after ur1 and it wasn't so close to Christmas money wise.

everything else looks like generic crap that has been taking over, i'm hoping phase 2 has more tech/minimal/deep house.

I wish I could go to ur1, cocoon stage, ciroloco stage, thats real music, not prerecorded set's where lame ass teeny bopper dj's turn knobs and try to look cool.
