As far as I can tell, this is the largest lottery jackpot ever, for any country (see this page for records). Assuming one person wins, he or she will get about $350,000,000, after taking into account taxes on the winnings.

What would you do with that kind of money?

:D

I'd make money sandwiches.

And replace my toilette paper with c notes.

Spanish Christmas Lottery El_Gordo

Total amount much higher except more people win due to easier odds.

my company recently did this. 5$/person totalling 60-70 games. We won 2$!!!!! I said give it to one of the kids college education. I guess they'll be asking for another $5 soon :)

I would by a Mansion and only live in 1 small room of it and use only one rest room and keep the rest of the Mansion empty. I would own one custom sports car that would be a one of a kind. I would travel alone most of the time but also with old friends when its time to party a bit.
I would not make myself known to people (the best I can) about the kind of money I have. I would donate money to the Fighting Game Community. I would donate money to charities and research but mostly I would walk into my local hospitals and just pay for peoples surgeries that are necessary and never leave a name of who payed the bill. I would donate to NASA in hope they would train me then let me be apart of a short mission in space.

I would probably not be able to keep a steady girlfriend until I adjusted to that money and lifestyle, so til then I would just collect 24-29 year olds until I was too old to keep that lifestyle up anymore or found someone that also had a good amount of money themselves because "Money changes everything". My parents might even divorce over that kind of cash.

In the end, I don't even know how it could effect me personally in the long run. I will not even play because my mind couldn't handle that kind of drastic change after I did all the things I wanted to. Giving is good but you have to take for yourself also. You could do a lot of good for yourself and other people but it can trust you into positions you don't want to be apart of.

^^^ How much money you spent last month on stupid , food that spoiled, overpaid?

If for $5 you get at least some chance of winning where for $0 you get none... don't you think it's worth it chancing it for a shot at $400Mil cash?

Yeah, I know I have a better shot of jizzing all over Kate Upton's face than winning the lottery. But, should I win the lottery, the chance to rejuvinate Kate's pretty facial skin goes up astronomically.

I'll be in my bunker... hope they don't mind sticky dollar bills. :p

Move to France, start a posh vineyard, and start up a business for restoring classic cars. Kind of like those two guys on Wheeler Dealers do. Also, i would throw a couple of million to a few ex lucas arts employes so PKC can get a new X Wing (or TIE Figter) game.

I don't get how this works. Say a lottery ticket costs $1. They need to sell half a billion tickets to pay the winner. And that's not including any profit which I'm sure they must make. I can't see 1/12th of the worlds population buying a ticket for the same lottery?

Every time the lottery doesn't get won, all the leftovers get put into the next one. Trust me, there's gonna be plenty of leftovers :p

Edit: Also, some people buy 10, or 20, or 30 tickets a week. And don't win :p
