So my question to you since I answered yours is, is why do you keep on trying to invite other people on Spundtae's thread when you can create your own? And mind you, this is not my event, we're just hosting/playing. |
Good question. |

maybe because the genres are totally different and Soulclap has played in LA 4 times in the last 6 months? Thug****** also recently spun for Bask this year.
Pillowtalk is honestly the only one I want to see in that line up, and its more because Mikey Tello is a good friend who's played for INCOGNITO a few tiems.

here's another GREAT idea from me...
last year he played at the W during the day for a pool party...maybe look into doing a copromotion...if the w books him again on a saturday during the day, he could make up this gig at night.
bill as a "special guest eh" |
i've been saying max should do another pool party at drai's for a long time now... that was a great time :) |

i seriously wonder why LA is so lacking on the pool party scene especially for non-electro acts. all i see mostly are standard hotel rooftop events run by culprit(?).
would be cool to have a weekly pool party thing in downtown or hollywood. |

we had one last Sunday at Standard Rooftop and it was the earliest they've hit capacity so far at 245pm.
our next one is Sunday May 20.
There used to be the flats and custom, both both have stopped. There also was at the JW for a very short time. Roosevelt too for occasional house events. |

| So has anyone taken max's slot? Is Shah just going to play all night then? |
|
|

| i believe that Shah will be the only one playing. Most likely a 2 hour set. |

Hard drive space has never been cheaper. You can pick up a 2tb external drive from a major good brand (Lacie etc) for less than $200 now. |
Actually hard drives were a lot cheaper about a year ago before the floods in the Philippines. 2TB used to be about $80 when now they are about $110.
Still, I agree with you point. |
