| Probably gonna be tough to find a close hotel now - just checked the one I booked at and they no longer have availability. Rooms at the marriott might still be available but I'm sure they're +400/night now. You can find places for 110ish closer to the airport, I would bet. |

Ok what's the old miami party this year? Who's headlining? I was hoping to catch Show, Voyage (Danny Tenaglia + Art Dept. on the boat) and probably the Moodymann roller rink party. Staying at Holiday Inn a half-mile from the fest, can't complain.
Edit:: I see Old Miami hasn't even released the names yet. Show lineup is real good tho |

What after parties are you going to, Yohan? Other c0r whores? Festival meetup might be best depending. I think I noted earlier in thread but as of now I guess I'm going to Down & Out, KMS, Flying Circus, and then the Need I Say More Old Miami party. |

So today was.....different than usual DEMFs. I was alone for the whole day, as most of my friends that would usually be there couldn't. I danced a lot, and I tended to dance close enough to the action to see the DJ and stage, but far enough away from the crowd. I was also in areas that got a lot of foot traffic, but not spots that people tended to stand. I got a lot of attention for some reason; people high fived me, people hugged me, people danced along with me, it was very friendly. I got my picture taken by one of the roaming photographers, and with a cute chick that wanted to have a picture with me. I got a lot of looks; a lot friendly, some not so much (I had a cop look at me like I was some kind of criminal). I only remark upon these things not because they haven't happened before, but because they never happened this much. I really enjoyed myself, got to see a few people who I only see at DEMF, and I have two more days left. |
