I am the expert of depressing music and I can tell you some of the people on this thread wouldnt have a clue about it.

"Rob D - clubbed to death", haha! doesnt matter what mix it is,
a depressing song has to real sad to be sad if you follow....

Radiohead are the most depressing band in the world.
listen to some of that.

Radiohead - Knives Out
Radiohead - Paranoid Android (one of the parts of the song)
Radiohead - Im not here (I think that is the title)

Main theme from 'Armageddon'

Coldplay - beautiful world

Alex Lloyd - Green (Australian singer)
Alex Lloyd - Amazing

They are some tracks out of the many.

P.S

the Radiohead tracks dont seem sad after the first listen because you
have to get into them a little but "Once your into radiohead you cant get out". Also you said what is the most depressing song:

"Radiohead!" they are the masters of depression.
hmmmmm its weird cos those radiohead songs have never gotten to me but street spirit by radiohead certainly has. i love thom yorkes voice... my two would have to be from other bands since i havent been into trance that long and it really only makes me wanna dance so .... the two most depressing , thought provoking for me is 1) machine head - the burning red and 2) soul asylum - runaway train .... amazing lyrics hands down. . the most depressing band IMO is Appleseed Cast. they're an amazing emo band.if you want depressing, listen to emo. it's its own genre. try out "portrait" or "dreamland" by appleseed cast. anyone that feels no overwhelming emotion when listening to these 4 songs isnt human !!!
ES5
Alice Deejay - The Lonely One (Airscape Remix)

Yasunori Mitsuda - Reaching to the Heavens
yahel - u inside and sugar 1
gouryella - tenshi

Boy trance
Ok, since peple are suggesting tunes that aren't trance, I guess I'll throw my few non-trance sad tune suggestions in:

Nine Inch Nails - A Warm Place (every trancehead should hear this tune)
Nine Inch Nails - Something I Can Never Have
Nine Inch Nails - The Great Below (ahh soo good)
Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees
older 'Catherine Wheel' stuff...

Very sad tunes. And Catherine wheel's vocalist has a good voice for sad tunes, kinda like thom yorkes' from radiohead.
