I haven't read anything about that. I would imagine they're convinced it's a hate race crime?
Do you have a link? (in Engrish prease)
EDIT: Sorry, didn't realize you had already included the link. |

It is in English, actually (and you can read the original Mandarin version if you hover the mouse over the paragraphs :)).
But, yeah, some of them believe it was a hate crime and the more clueless among them believe (the murderer) being gay is somehow related as well. |

or we could not adopt idiotic policies and i can just stay. You act like your idea has merit. Thankfully, as bad as things get, they never get so ing stupid where say your little legal nugget would become policy. |

That is the problem you create, you have to make a very extensive list of things that are considered ed up. In the end it just isn't worth it. He will spend the next 25 years in a cell. 1 year alone is enough to drive you mad. 25 is overkill.
I'm in favour of examining him in every way possible no matter how invasive and conducting extremely unethical tests to forward science but i would be in favour of this for most people if i'm the one who gets to decide. |
I wouldn't mind writing up that list. I think my 'that's ed yo' factor is just about where it should be. i've seen things, man. |

their reactions make me LOL
"His parents suffered two blows! First is their own son being a homosexual, the second is him being dismembered! "
"Being gay is not wrong?! What kind of values is this?! Would a good person have encountered a deviant/sicko like this?"
"The risks of being gay abroad is so high… looks like China is still better." |

One of the major news stations in Canada mentioned that the Chinese feel it was a race related crime...
I thought about that for a moment.... theres a load of asians (or chinese to be specific) in canada. Kind of hard to miss them, so its not like he singled out the chinese.
Reminds me of polish people getting pissed off about the tazing of that guy at the airport.. they accidentally killed him and polish communities everywhere started protesting for illegitimate reasons. |

Um... "my little legal nugget"... the sentance of natural life incarceration as described earlier for dangerous offenders is already Canadian law.
read section 752 of the Criminal Code of Canada
alternatively; if statutes aren't your thing try this |
