in all fairness its not like deadmau5 is suddenly doing anything different to cash in on some "EDM wave" is he?
he is making basically the same music he always has. the stuff he made was never really "deep" or "underground" (with maybe a few rare exceptions). to be honest if you ask me the "EDM wave" might not have even happened without him.
from where I'm sitting, he is just doing his thing same as he always has and it just so happens that hundreds of millions of people are interested in that now, rather than hundreds of thousands |
