Does Roseland still do EDM events? I feel like nothing has been there in awhile...

apparently the eZoo after parties will be there.

This is why I passed on this party, and yes I'm hoping for an EP/IC at Roseland this fall.

Oh my god, people are so ing stupid.

Pacha apparently was doing us a favor and we should all be grateful for the crumbs they let us eat off the floor.

I'm sticking with techno, the rest of the scene is overrun by these wits ruining it for everybody, sorry guys.

Not surprised. People in general, in particular the young, are extremely self-centered and think nothing of others. The EDM scene has merged itself with the regular 'club' crowd and what we've seen lately is the result.

21+ too plz

I honestly don't think this makes a difference anymore. The 21-25 (26, 27??) crowd seems as stupid and immature as the under 21... it not more.

Agh, I'm sorry guys - I was really looking forward to Prydz too but I guess it just wasn't in the stars last night :(

In all honestly I didn't really expect the Beekman show to have such huge demand, but hopefully from all of this we'll see him back soon - perhaps even at a bigger venue like Govs Island or a Pier.

Btw for what it's worth I really appreciate those of you that came out early to support!

Definitely not your fault man, you did your job exceptionally well. Glad I got to see you again, first time in a long while!

But yeah, I didn't think anyone expected the turnout for EP. Goes to show you how far EDM really has come in reaching a new audience.

Btw, did Paige turn up the volume when he came on? I thought it seemed to get quite a bit louder once his set started right after yours ended...

Yea I was trying to keep the sound low in order to avoid drawing attention and fly under the radar a bit.

Ok thought so. I noticed that with ear plugs in too, so he really must have cranked it up. Personally I thought your volume was fine.

Apparently from other people complaining, I heard that this has happened at this venue before too. Too bad, its a pretty neat setup. They should just start earlier next time, but I know that wouldn't have worked this time with EP also performing at Identity at Jones Beach. Maybe next time...

Whomever bought tickets, please contact CLUBTICKET.COM ([email protected]) tell them what happened they are issuing:

a) FREE tickets to Thomas Gold (yeah right lol)
or
b) A full refund

I emailed them this morning after contacting my credit card company.

Hopefully most of you can get your money back and screw Pacha over. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. They show time and again how grimey, unprofessional, and careless they are.

Good luck guys! :)

Already emailed them and got the same response this morning, but I'm wondering if they are offering this to people who did buy tickets but did not email them asking for a refund.

I doubt it, I am pretty sure you have to complain to them. No on is issuing a statement otherwise. Your best bet is to e-mails clubtickets and do that first. Or contact your credit card company to dispute. I am sure clubtickets doesn't want a bad reputation for this mess.

This is the email I received after e-mailing my complaint:

We have been notified by the event organizers of the situation that occured on Saturday evening during the Eric Prydz show at the Beekman Beach Club.

We would like to apologize on their behalf for the poor experience that many of you suffered which was due to circumstances completely beyond their control, and of course, ours.
Together with the event organizers, we would like to offer ...all ticketholders some form of compensation with regard to this event.

Pacha NYC will be hosting a Thomas Gold show on Saturday 11th August, and you have been offered 2 tickets, for each ticket previously purchased for Eric Prydz.

If you would like to accept this offer please reply by return mail and we will issue and resend your tickets by email as previously. Tickets will only be issued in the same name and with the exact same details as per the Eric Prydz tickets.

If you are unable to attend the substitute date of Thomas Gold at Pacha NYC on Saturday August 11th and would prefer a full refund, then of course we will be happy to oblige.

Kind regards,

The Clubtickets.com Team

Bull. All ther fault. They were still selling tickets at the door, line wrapped around into the streets, venue ram packed already. Same as loco dice party. If they haven't been doing this for years I'd give them a break on one event. But this is ing Pacha, they have been around forever and do dumb all the time.

How did they not expect this turnout? They know how many ticked were sold.
They really must take us for idiots. Unfortunately most people there were.
VenomNYC
Of course they figured this was going to happen, since Beekman's has a reputation. Funny thing is I didn't hear any music until I turned the corner to enter. So I don't know how someone could've "complained" about the "noise".

At least they are offering a refund. It's funny how they think Thomas Gold tickets (which would probably have a $10 guestlist) could compenstate me for Eric Prydz. I agree that they must think people are extremely stupid.
