Great article/review
wow.. that sucks to who ever spent all that money and time for this. what a disaster. I mean everyone speculated that that venue has had noise complains. How could you bring such a name to a non safe place. ing EP for crying outloud.
a guy i know just mentioned that while was at pacha that night, out of blue light went off. then a sign lit up with "eric prydz". He said it was unexpected and EP was amazing. he joked when he said he only paid like $10 at pacha and got to see Eric Prydz. As much as i was happy to find out he got the chance to enjoy this i felt bad for all you guys who actually planned this night out and coughed up a lot of money! |

wasn't this the same case with ADID, police shutting down the party bc of "excessive noise"? at least you guys made it past 10pm.
sounds like a much worse experience though. But beekman is to be blamed here, too. So if you guys have issues, it's not being equally spread out. They continue to let parties be thrown here, yet it's always being shut down by police...beekman, another one to add to the boycott list. That's all. |

I wonder how come Verboten never had a problem at Beekman.
I love their parties btw...hope there is atleast one more drama free party from them at Beekman before the summer is up. |

The last Verboten I went to in late June for Art Department had the same problem. The big difference was that the Verboten party was way more organized and had a totally different crowd that went last Saturday night for Prydz.
They were playing the music low towards the end of the night and they shut down at 1am. However, everyone knew their was going to be an after party with the same artists so no one was rushing to leave and it was a calmer exit from Beekman. |

True, I remember. Also I believe most of their parties there start at 6pm which still gives ppl a good 7hours of partying if they are not attending the afterparty |

I doubt it, I am pretty sure you have to complain to them. No on is issuing a statement otherwise. Your best bet is to e-mails clubtickets and do that first. Or contact your credit card company to dispute. I am sure clubtickets doesn't want a bad reputation for this mess. |
Agreed. I recieved nothing from Pacha or ClubTickets. I emailed them, waiting for a response.

I fortunately got in on the $50 tier but saw only 20 minutes. Hopefully I get a full refund and I'll be ok with what happened. But it definitely turned out to be an expensive night if not... $50+ for ticket, $36 for parking, $20 for Sully Room after, $10 for the taxi from Sully back to my car, $10 to enter Manhattan in the tunnel... it adds up quick.
Lesson learned though. I won't trust any outdoor venue at night. |

Sounds like a pretty horrible experience for everyone...all the way around.
For me though, when a writer is factually incorrect in the lede paragraph (second sentence, even), I tend to take everything else they write with a grain of salt. |

Ya EP was here in 2010 right?
BTW, make sure if you haven't already you email ClubTickets. I did and within about an hour got a response that my ticket was cancelled and I'd be refunded in 3-5 days. |
