During a 2009 interview with the website Rotten Tomatoes, Scott said he planned to use the Vincent Thomas Bridge in a remake of the 1970 Walter Hill film, "The Warriors."

The plot, he said, revolved around the Warriors gang, framed for killing a gang leader attempting to make peace.

"I'm hoping to get 100,000 real gang members standing on the Vincent Thomas Bridge for one shot," Scott said. "I've been meeting the various gangs as part of the research. I never meet the gang leader, always his second-in-command. I have to do this little tap-dance and sell the film to them. I've met them all, Crips, Bloods, The 18th Street Gang, The Vietnamese and so on. They all love The Warriors, so it was, `Yeah, f--- yeah, we'll be in that!"

I love you.

I hope when you break Hal's heart you don't drive him away from here and leave us stuck with just you, like all the other female TAs seem to do when they male TAs. Well, except for Jay.

What a lame, bitchy thing to say.
Silky Johnson
Oh, so you think you're different than every other TA couple? :stongue:
Halcyon+On+On
Yes, actually.

The vast majority of couples don't 'make it' anyway. You think TA is some couples litmus for staying together? Oh, sweetie!
Silky Johnson
Yeah, yeah that's exactly what I think. Lol.

Actually, there's little reason to believe TA couples are any less likely to be successful than couples who met elsewhere:
  1. There are successful couples, such as Yukii and Nathan (can't remember his username);
  2. We don't really have a way to measure how well TA couples fare compared to ordinary couples. For one thing, there aren't that many TA couples, and any sample would be extremely skewed. And we also have no idea, under normal circumstances, how many relationships in average fail, making it all the more difficult to have a proper control group;
  3. Besides, both Hal and Selma are both outstandingly amusing, so I'm sure even the most serious argument they may ever have easily becomes a battle of wits - which shifts the focus of the argument to something much more interesting and harmless to the relationship.
Also, people stop posting regularly all the time (I'd have done it ages ago, but this is a good way for me to practise my English), and it's very unlikely that people drift away more often when they've been in an unsuccessful relationship with another TA, as opposed to the legion of forever aloners who come, post, and disappear.

Pish posh.

Lol. Wah wah! As if you two are immune to getting flamed on the internet. Post public displays of relationship/love/affection and expect it to go unnoticed? Ok. Super ing barf, btw.

I must admit it's cute to see Hal finally get bothered by some on the internet though. Heh.
