Managed to work on this tracking using only the track pad, for about 2 hours. Will get the USB mousey hooked up later, my wrist is a bit sore now. I like the vibe in this one and feel it's a little closer to the sound I'm going for these days.

Yeah, this sound combo is cool so far but it is really hard for me to imagine a direction for this track for now as this is very early WIP at the moment.
Like bass and pluck sound but kick need to or should be bring more up front and have some EQ process done to get its sound characteristic adjust a bit - overall interesting blend of sound and melody and what is your next step??? ;)

I've long adored Claude Von Stroke's tracks , although not many of his labels other artist tracks lately.
I can hear the CVS vibe in here but not a lot to go on yet.
I like the sytle of this. If you can make the toms maybe a little tighter and also more original sounding with some tricks, that will make it more special.
Liking some of your little incidental sounds - good choices. The hats are too loud and loose and shrill I think - tighten them up and make them sound more quirky and funky. Add the odd hats (some wityh hard panning elements) with odd but super tight syncopation to really get the groove going.
Gonna be looking out for your tracks as this sort of thing is my fave style. |

| Yeah, been working erratically in coffee shops and stuff like that. Need to have a nice long sitdown this weekend. Played it on some commercial PC speakers and it sounded awful. Hahaha. |
