This must be whatever Jochen was talking about on Facebook.

I'm pretty sure this is the guy that opened up for Markus... played peak hour top 40 house. Srsly. It makes me so happy that I go to shows in NYC... nobody else has on our opening DJs.

Wouldnt be surprised if Armin is in NYC that same weekend. Maybe the 5th or 6th.

100%...NYC and toronto in my opinion have the best opening DJs time and time again out of all the cities and events ive partied in/at over the past 11 years.

im very familiar with all the toronto locals, but coming to NYC parties 5-6 times a year, theres always one that ive never heard of who typically blows my mind. love that city! cant wait to come back at the end of sept.

Maybe he has, but I've heard him play techno before.

Agreed, my couple times in Toronto, I heard some of the best openers I've ever heard out of a lot of cities and countries I've been to. New Yorkers and Toronto DJs seem to have an interesting respect or perspective toward the art of opening duties. I'm not sure how valuable or appreciated that is in today's electronic scene, but yeah, really enjoyed what I heard in Toronto!

It honestly sounds like if I go see a show anywhere but Toronto or NY, I will be severely disappointed.

Anyone comment on LA openers?
