I don't know much about this guy, but I think he is very underrated. Is he underrated for a reason in particular? He's made some fabulous tracks.

I remember the first time I heard his songs on a Magik album. It was "Alone In The Dark" and I fell in love with it. The dark atmoshereic Trance and cold melody in this track sounds so unnerving and ..... just dark. But that's what makes it so exciting. I find euphoria in a dark track, lol. must be weird.

another good song is by him is "Lightspeed"

what do you guys think of Airwave?

Probably the best trance producer ever, cant wait for his next album

When he is good he puts out some of the best damn trance out there.
I personally think he had his peak around 2000. The amount of good tracks he put out under various guises back then was amazing. Alone in the dark, Lightspeed, Full Moon, Sixty Nine Ways, Till the last minute of my life, Walking in sunshine, Computer weekend just to name a few.

After that he somehow dropped in quality production wise. But he seems to have regained the inspiration after hearing his latest tracks.

he is not underrated at all, he just dont get that much support from big dj's no more cause they chose a dif route with their electro trouse pop sound
but back in late 90's early 2000's everyone and their mother was hammering out airwave tracks week after week
the guy still makes solid stuff. keep following him

One of the best Trance producers, in my opinion. Also he is behind of a couple of good labels with a great variety of EDM genres, from Bonzai to L*C*D and Mistiquemusic.

Big respect for Airwave. Seems like a very nice guy as well.

Airwave is not only an extremely talented producer but the dude knows how to mix a fine set.

I actually think Airwave is better than he's ever been. Just about every track he's made this year has been an instant classic (don't forget his co-production on The Astrophysical Nebula as well), and Atlas Winds in particular has destroyed more than a few dancefloors. It's a modern day Point Zero. The album is on course to be brilliant, and I'll be attending the launch party at J00F Editions in Brighton.

As a DJ, I've heard good sets and mediocre ones. I saw him play a three hour set in Manchester back in June, and the flow was a bit non-existent in all honesty. But I've also seen him do a great job warming up for J00F before.

He is a very nice guy too. I was bitching on TA a few months ago about the ty mastering on a Planisphere track I'd bought, and he sent me a PM explaining that they'd had problems mastering the last Planisphere album, and he even went to the trouble of uploading a WAV of the track for me with better sound quality.

I miss high uplifting and melodic trance stuff but I don't mind if he produces more progressive stuff.

His 2012 tracks are quite impeccable. 2000 is still the best year for him, as he had several styles (rather than just a very mcprog sound)
Fire & Ice alias/collab (years later) has mostly weak material, except for a couple of kickass tracks.
However, that is just his weak point; the man is definitely one of the best trance producers ever.
