everything i ever post is a fact...or references other's statements(headliners, club tiers, reaction to calling people by their real names etc)
as of TODAY September 12,2012. The dj playing at ruby skye on november 9,2012 is a SURPRISE due to the fact there has been no announcement of said dj...IDEALLY this information would be released within the next 3 weeks or so, thus giving a month to promote/sell tickets/print fliers that are at entrance to club. if by halloween weekend there is still no annoucement, expect another THREAD :-) So davet, if you don't want me starting one of these threads then, lets get a flier up on the ruby skye website or spundae with the nov 9 headliner/opener/midcarder, whatever.
vessel has already announced TIM GREEN, so there is no surprise as to who will be playing on 11.9.2012 at VESSEL.
im sure syd grys would have appreciated knowing a week ago that he was opening on friday, and could have perhaps enticed more of his following to attend. with a 2 day heads up people are likely already set in their plans, shoot, im already set with tentative plans for MLK 2013 and presidents day 2013, early bird gets the worm. |

| I'm sure DaveT would post a flyer as soon as he would get a chance to. Unfortunately, he's not the one in control. Ruby is the one in control. You have ask the powers that be at Ruby post that information or pass it on to guys like DaveT. |

Both my friends headlined Pacha NYC, LIV and a Canada club near the size of Ruby. But all those bookings were on the weekend, minus LIV. So I don't think that's the issue. When these guys come, they are out here for 2 weeks and have 2 weekends max to play, of course the weekend dates fill up quick and then the weekday ones come into play. So The bigger clubs get the weekends and the smaller places get the weekday dates...it's just how it works. |

I dont like reading these boards much anymore either cause they smell like the bigperf drops all over them every day. You ruin perfectly good conversations among TAs on a daily basis. |

Agreed. Think a lot of threads go into the ter because of the antics. That said, I know he's not this way in person. More of an online persona. That persona needs to rot and die, though. :)
Looking back, thanks to Mr. Perf, I cannot believe how I used to be on the Ten15 boards years back. My lame antics pretty much caused them to shut it down. :-/ |

Yes, you single handed caused the 1015 board to be shut down. You would start topics criticizing 1015 and bang they kicked us all out!!

LOL, an epic time. Was even called, AT MY WORK, by their head of security once.
Funny thing is that everyone I'd meet who ever read that stuff would give me praise for speaking what everyone was thinking. It's kinda how I became known. And there was a lot of truth. That said, not proud of the antics when looking back, because it didn't help the scene and it didn't help the community in the end. |
