Crowd control.
The people that go to these promoters' (talking about Digital Distortion) parties pretty often already know where the place is. You keep the venue location vague, the people that matter and are out for a good time with good music will go out of their way to find out; the random trouble-makers won't bother.
As for A.C., this place tends to get hot no matter what. You ask too many questions, just enjoy..

| Well as a ticket buyer I think I have a right to know what venue I'm paying for. Is it in Bklyn, LI, NJ? Cause if so I won't be making the trek to go there, I'm not that much into these artists in particular. If it were an Anjunadeep artist I'd go to any boro. Which is why I'm glad I didn't buy tix for this show since it won't be in Manhattan. |

that said, it would be helpful if the boro of the secret location could be posted, to aid in planning.
Usually assume that its NYC, the secret ones are always in New York, BK, or sometimes Queens.... |

it's in brooklyn, and it's worth it for these things. they're some of the best parties i've ever been to. insane vibe, awesome music, epic venues. |

I knew it was in Bklyn but didn't want to mention that here out of respect to the promoters. They should have said TBA Bklyn location.
Speaking of events & secrecy..I'm surprised that there's been no mention on this forum of the Gareth Emery event tonight at Lavo NYC. Tix went for $75 on a Thurs night and it's sold out too. Didn't know he had that much of a following here. |

As for the venue: a lot of great artists have performed there this past year alone. A little sleuthing can reward you at this point, but I'll wait on revealing out of respect to the promoters. |

Well they will screw you in a heartbeat there. They will tell you tickets have to be bought at the door, then you get there and unless your dressed to kill and modelesque, they will deny you at the door. Most people who go there don't go for a specific DJ, they just go to be around wealthy people and blow lots of money. |
