L4C is way better than me at this sort of 'event' so appologies for the amateur nature of it. Feel free to re - do this thread if anyone wants.

Ok, just for laughs, who's up for this?
The objective? I'd say it's to make the most commercially viable track possible, cheese is welcome, as long as the aim is wide commercial dance music appeal.
How we'll define the term 'commerically viable' I'm as yet unsure.
I'd particularly like to enter some of you, I mean, have certain folk here enter this, but I won't mention any names as I'd rather people self invite.
THE PRIZE - who knows the thing might just sell a few units.
RULES;
1) The aim is to deliver something with genuine commercial potential, not a send-up or parody
2) One track each
3) Don't clutter the thread with examples of other artists tracks
4) By all means start with a wip posted up
5) Embed your track here, no tiresome links thanks
6) Must not have been signed already
At a point in the near future we'll take a vote.
Good luck n stay safe queens. |

How about a soundcloud group to post your final track to? I think we need to get as many people as possible to submit (even non-TA'ers) or else it might just be a couple of us so maybe some promotion?
Also, I have two guideline suggestions:
-How about a due date of Nov 15 11:59 PM UK time / 5:59 PM Central time
-Only original tracks (no remixes, edits, bootlegs or mashups) unless you are remixing your own original track. |

I'd give it a go, but I'm not sure I'll have the time for the next month or so. Lots of work on, but i'd still earn more working at Starbucks  |

well i am in, i think i am going to redesign an old track that had an appeal for the masses.
This is the wip. |

these events just take too much time to do right. The last one fizzled because i had too much work and i had to bail and the one before that just took way too much time. But my goal was to foster art, not this. And i paid handsomely. I think like 800$. And all the winning tracks got signed and i didn't ask for anything except for dick pictures.
also, i find the title very distasteful. Tone down the homophobia. |

I won't be dedicating anymore time than the other participants. This is merely a democratic event, where people can contribute atrack and vote on others.
As for monetary prizes, if anyone feels agrieved and hard done by, by all means set up another thread. You'all often say it's not about the money, it's about the love of art and the journey.
Thanks for setting up the group cloud trancelover.
So get cracking, and yes that includes looney and tehlord. |

Oh yes, i'd love to hear some tracks by guys who've always been saying how easy and dulled down the commercial sound is (see Avicii thread) |

I doubt we will see many entries considering the amount of work that is required.
Ill post up a track soon though. |
