Comfort Zone

Can anyone share their thoughts about or experiences at the Comfort Zone? I've partied in Toronto quite a few times but this is one place I have yet to experience. I have heard some really mixed things about it. I keep hearing this place is awesome. I also keep hearing this place is unbelievably sketchy, but really what after hours doesn't have a sketchy element?

Best bet is just to jump in and visit. Descriptions will only take away from the element of trying something new imo. Good locals/tunes, good sound, and yes you will probly see a few eye openers. :) Their Halloween party coming up would probly be a good first time to go.

Considering the nature of the venue and how long it stays open for, it does get pretty sketchy. At the same time, they've got some amazing locals that play there. Your best bet would be to go there with some like minded friends and to stick to them. Music aside, your experience there will depend on who you have around you.

From my experience, I'd say going there for a special event would be your best bet. Just go there at a time when its more packed and when you have really good djs playing. Some of the djs worth noting there are Manzone & Strong, Dekoze (beast), and Greg Gow.

Hope that helps!

cz is nowhere as sketchy as it once was...pre-bust, yes. The last year or 2, it hasn't been bad (nor busy). My suggestion is go on Friday. It's been packed and reviews have been "like the good ol days" with good vibes and people just wanting to dance. You can tune in on 100.7fm for live to air :toothless

CZ is only fun if you go with a bunch of friends. I wouldn't suggest going in that club alone. Heck I wouldn't even suggest going with a tour guide type friend. As Justin said try Friday night before you venture to Sunday. Personally I've retired by CZ jersey. Toronto in general needs a shake up or else the scene is doomed.

One last thing... Don't go to CZ excepting to hear dubstep or trance or you'll be disappointed.

Naw, not affiliated in any way and I really don't care much about the success of the place. Just saying you can ask questions galore but the best way to figure out if it's your thing or not is to just go. Worst case you walk out after a bit and lose cover.

Best tip in here is to go with a good group of friends though. That's a good general rule for most outings but especially true with CZ.

I have read that some of the 'Day Discos' in the UK play Hard Trance.

That's a little much for noon for me.
