I thought fehrplay was too inconsistent. Boring at times. Prydz opened up slow, but after 45 mins he was awesome. Best progressive set I have seen probably ever. His ending was sick and definitely did not want to stop. The crowd was a lot better than expected. Only thing I did not like was the bathroom lines but that is expected. Took almost 20 mins for my gf to get out of there. Really can't wait for Saturday, may buy the mezzanine braclet they were offering it for 40 bucks. It got too crowded at some parts, and I wanna see the while light show fwiw. Anyone have opinions if the extra 40 is worth it?

woah - that was DOPE :eyespop: !

got to roseland around 11:15 to a line that was literally down the block, around the corner and then down the block again. moved fairly quickly but still didn't get in until a little past 12:30 aka nowhere near the 11:30 i told a few of you guys lol. pretty sure ramsau and i got stuck buying shots at a fancy sushi place in exchange for using their bathroom while we were waiting :stongue:

was there for the last 30 minutes of ferhplay but between attempting to at least say whats up to a few TAs and finding a spot for my group of friends to set up camp at, i didn't even pay attention to anything he played.

it was packed but surprisingly not a show. a group of 10+ of us had plenty of room to dance the entire night by the left speaker towards the back. the kiddies didn't really bother us either.

as for EP - um, holy ing . unbelievably on point, never let up and had me dancing and rocking all night. i suffered a mild heart attack when he played 'not going home' - it sounded INSANE on those speakers (although i think he redlined a bit towards the end of the night and it was a liiiittle too loud/bass-y). i think he snuck in a little bit of the hook from faithless - insomnia right before the drop for not going home too. he played a lot of cirez d - i could always tell by when there was the mouseville logo on the screens lol. the spotlights/lasers were HOT.

he came back for an encore twice - he originally ended with every day/pjanoo. then came back and dropped this (i think? it was mellow, pretty sure it's 'you'):

then the lights came on.. half the people left. and he came back up, with the lights still on in the place and finished it with this:

did manage to meet up with clownz0r for a little - nice to meet ya man. and jackie - should we sneak in another EP show before lawler on saturday? :D

Dude sorry I didn't find you sooner I was in Prydaland and didn't want to move lol.

GUYS. GUYS. HOLY ING . I can't even process that set last night, I wasn't even on drugs and I was on another planet. What a proper education from Mr. Prydz :toocool:

I agree with everything everyone has said.. (I never thought I would get emotional during Allein, but it really was perfectly timed and it turns out I just don't like when everyone else plays it!).. truly a special night. Only thing I disagree with is that he started off slow for 45 minutes? Not slow, he was building his set beautifully. Such great prog woo! I couldn't ID most of the set, just amazing amazing tracks.

When he played Harder Better Faster Stronger vs Blue Monday I wanted him to drop the lyrics to Blue Monday sooooo badly. I wanted to sing my little heart out to that.

Completely lost my voice during Not Going Home and completely lost my mind during On Off. THE LASERS!! SO MANY LASERS!! I had to run back from the bathroom when I heard the beginning of On Off, I was literally jumping over people to get back to my spot to dance it out.

I am still so hyped. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! LOVE YOU ALL.

Aww man, that place pretty much saved my night :D The line moved pretty quickly (thank goodness, otherwise would've probably ended going to that strip club across the street) for it's size. When I heard they released more tickets I was thinking "oh no, not again" but it wasn't THAT packed, lots of room in the back.

Sound was good, actually so good that I took my earplugs off at some point not realizing the volume goes up towards the end. My poor ears.

Thanks to Jules and David for the night, had a blast!

have to agree with him starting a bit slow... my favorite stretch of his set was from about 3-3:30 when he was dropping those Cirez D bombs like The Tumble (mixed with Insomnia) and then he went into Bauerpost right after... ahh madness. personally i liked his Identity set earlier in the year better but thats just cause he went right into it since it was a shorter set but it was still a great time! fehrplay was a bit boring for me though.

My friend convinced me to do this last night... sooooo worth it. It was not crowded at all up there, you have your own bar, bathroom, AND coat check. The only thing is in the beginning it was COLD up there. Once the placed packed up, it warmed up. I was upstairs from 930 to 400 and it didn't get comfortable temperature-wse until about 1130-1200. However that $40 was well worth it, if just for the private coat check and no lines in the bathroom.

Everything about this set was amazing. His technique, the music, the lights, the visuals... all perfectly thrown together for an awesome journey. Won't soon forget this night!

Best EDM show of 2012 this was to me. Picked up a ticket for show 2 as soon as I got home.

I actually snagged a ticket yesterday for last night's show at the regular price, since tickets opened up again for the sold out show. Got there around 9:30 for Zack who actually didn't play long. I think Fehrplay took over at 9:45 and then kept playing til 1:15. Fehrplay's set was awesome, he reminded me a lot of James Grant & Dusky's Anjunadeep style when he started, then he definitely picked things up. His Incognito track is a sick track for a newcomer to make an entrance on the scene. I had a blast during his set & would definitely go see him play again, hopefully at a venue like this.

EP was awesome, played great stuff. Amazingly, I had a much better time dancing to the unknown tracks he played rather than the popular ones. By the time Midnight City, Everyday etc. were played I was tired because I'd been dancing since 9:30. At times EP's set reminded me of classic Sasha sets, he dropped some cool !

The main reason I went to last night's show was because I haven't been to an epic show in a large venue like this since the summer, and I missed all the lasers, large screens and visuals etc. as opposed to just watching a dj spinning. I'm not the biggest Prydz fan, I actually had free tix to see him play at Jones Bch last summer & didn't go. But the whole show experience last night was great, Fehrplay & EP were on fire and I wouldn't miss either of these guys again.

I'm glad everybody had a good time. It's nice to see he played some unknown tracks, probably future releases/remixes ;-)

Enjoy Thanksgiving everyone, i hope all of you that went recovered well!

Were the $40 mez bracelets being sold at the door?
Burak14
Glad everyone had fun.

Did anyone have trouble going between mez and the main floor?

Yes there was a girl selling them soon as you walked in. They were purple wristbands.

After such a long time trying to make it out to one of his gigs for the first time the wait finally paid off.

Wooooooooooooww ing insane!!!!!!! Listening to his music on my iphone is one thing, listening to him live with the whole visual experience is out of this world.

I couldn't believe how long the line was to get in. It almost wrapped around two corners.

I was in sync all night from the start of his first song to the end. EP def. knows how to move the crowd and surely knows how to tell a musical story in his set.

The only thing I thought lacked in performance were the speakers. Either the set up wasn't done for his music or the speakers just sucked all around. I barely heard any of the vocals in some of his tracks. Also, the bass was just too much. Other than that the visuals were awesome and the lasers def. gave it that nice touch.

diabloargentino - sorry we didn't get to meet up brotha once I got inside the crowd i was locked in for good. When "Not going Home" came on I was in bliss. That was sick!

Not gonna lie, I might consider saturday! :) I highly recommend to anyone that couldn't make it yesterday!
