sweet baby jesus - another unbelievable night! DAMN :eyespop:
got there earlier this time - didn't want on line at all. ferhplay was awesome opening up. had everyone grooving. adam beyer - human reason was my favorite that he played.
crowd was a little worse than wednesday night - which makes sense since more kiddies would be able to come out on a saturday night. packed but still possible to dance with some room.
prydz exchanged some progression in his set for a few more big room/peak time tracks but i loved it. danced my ass off. only played a few tracks again from wed (pjanoo, allein obvs being a few of them). played 'not going home' again.. does any song sound better live? holy ing .
the visuals for personal jesus were so hot. he also played sunburst, glimma and some other gems. this guy produces music so damn well - every single track sound even better live on a huge system.
vicious - nice to finally meet ya. martinezequiel - our text convo trying to find each other is hilarious. great hangin' with ya - i owe you like 10 drinks!
neon - doubt any of the sets were recorded but would love it if they were :eyespop:

nice!
just remembred ferhplay played this towards the end of his set - haven't heard it in years at a club:

Went with my one friend (not much of an EDM fan but he accompanies me to shows) and we both had a blast! Fehrplay was a great opener, played lots of great Swedish style melodic progressive. Prydz had a really strong opening and finish, but towards the middle of his set I thought he got a bit plodding and repetitive... the more bass-heavy techier tracks didn't work with the soundsystem issues - there were parts where things just sounded a bit too distorted... Audio engineer didn't do that great a job. Place was also a bit of a sausage fest.
Visuals were fantastic though... some standouts:
-Fehrplay playing Pryda - Lift
-Pjanoo/Allien mashup
-Cirez D - Glow
-Personal Jesus
-Not Going Home with the Insomnia riff
-Bergen and Walking On A Dream encores
Shocked that he didn't play Niton or Call On Me.
Got so many compliments on my Pikachu shirt I wore :D

Had a great time again but I thought Wednesday's set was definitely better. He dove straight into peak time music and had to keep it up there for three hours. I definitely preferred the journey of the first set.

he's pretty vocal about the fact that call on me pretty much has nothing to do with the direction he's taken his career lol. but yeah, surprised i didn't hear niton.
and +1 on the sound system issues. it sounded like an ipod on blast in a car where it ends up just being fuzzy/bass-y and way distorted.

02: Pryda & Empire Of The Sun - We are the Mirage (Roman Kay Intro Bootleg)

Both nights were amazing.
For Saturdays tracklist: I think he played a third encore cause I remember that track being incredible and it wasn't the empire of the sun track.
Definitely also heard Cirez D- Mokba at one point

Awesome show once again. I also thought EP's Wednesday set was much better but this show still rocked.
I got there later this time, around 11, so I was expecting the long lines pple were talking about on Wednesday night. No lines though, got in under 3 minutes. The only line I saw that night was for the ladies' bathroom going all the way up the stairs to almost the front door & not moving. Don't know if all these girls had Taco Bell before the club or something, lolz. Saw more drunk girls than usual last night too, physically fighting with the security and jumping barriers to fall splat on their faces etc, hilarious. Fehrplay seemed to play the same set from last Wednesday which I didn't mind because his set is awesomeness. EP came on approximately at 1 this time and played a diff set from the last one and he opened up with Everyday. I left just before 4 so don't know how long he played for. His Wednesday night set had a build up and was more of a journey as mentioned by others.
This show was also less crowded to me than last Wednesday's. There was room to dance, which is one of the things I like about Roseland. There's Always room to dance somewhere no matter who's playing.
I had a blast at these 2 shows. They were a treat for both the ears and eyes, not to mention easy on the pockets compared to other shows like Armin on NYE etc, so going twice was a no-brainer. The visuals were amazing on both nights, I would so love to have a blu ray of club visuals like those!! I hope to catch these 2 guys in NYC again :)

What a great ing night!!! I don't go out much these days but this party was well worth coming out of retirement for. The extra $40 for the mez bracelet was well worth it...... was getting a little crazy down on the dance floor lol.
Awesome seeing some old schoolers out for this. We had a nice little reunion upstairs in the back. :toothless
Prydz - what can I say? He destroyed that place. One of the best sets I've heard in years. Definitely made up for the disastrous night at Beekman Beach earlier this year. My favorite part of the set was def Personal Jesus followed by Allien Allien!!! Those visuals were intense!!
