IF this is true, :whip: :whip: :whip:

1. Armin Van Buuren
2. Tiesto
3. Avicii
4. David Guettа
5. Deadmau5
6. Hardwell
7. Above & Beyond
8. Dash Berlin
9. Afrojack
10. Skrillex
11. Nicky Romero

half of them aren't even real DJ's lol

we all know this is a bs poll, but end of day, you still want your favorite DJ to be on it despite all of that.

wow i really hoped for markus to be in the top 10 this yr. he's been literally above and beyond at his shows.

i still feel artists care about these polls .. after all it is a job .. i sure as hell wouldn't do what i do if it didn't bring any satisfaction or cred when due.

*edit* and by shows .. i mean his DJing skills

I think there is some importance, but not like it used to be.

I certainly have not seen the push by DJs this year as I have in years past. It's not even close, actually. There was a time when it was hugely important for club owners and promoters when it came to booking DJs, but I don't think it is anymore. And I would talk to DJ after DJ and they used to talk about how they hated the poll, but it was important to get good bookings. That discussion seemed to start subsiding in 2010, and more so last year. This year, I have heard so little discussion. And DJs, beyond mentioning that the polls were open when they opened, have not really done much marketing.

Wow. none are real DJ's????

Armin is basically still the same exact guy he was 10 years ago, just with more experience, more followers and just more of everything.... Above and Beyond and Armin are keeping trance alive.

i said half, not all.

1. Armin Van Buuren (no issue w him, i support armin)
2. Tiesto (end of day, even though he plays electro now, he earned my respect when he played trance)
3. Avicii (not a DJ, i would say more of a producer)
4. David Guettа (apparently he used to be a really good house dj so he gets a pass)
5. Deadmau5 ((not a DJ, i would say more of a producer, didn't he even admit he's not a DJ?)
6. Hardwell (not a DJ, i would say more of a producer)
7. Above & Beyond (no issue w them)
8. Dash Berlin (i dont really know)
9. Afrojack (not a DJ, i would say more of a producer)
10. Skrillex (not a DJ, i would say more of a producer)
11. Nicky Romero (not a DJ, i would say more of a producer)

Leak seems legit, especially with the Ministry lineup for the party.

Worlds Number #1 DJ
Markus Schulz
Orjan Nilsen
Sean Tyas

I think the only person in that top 10 list that fits the bill for that slot is Armin.

The way I feel about the DJ list these days, is I couldn't care less. However, when I lived in a city less blessed with music as LA is, promoters drooled over that list. The importance it holds to them is why I hate this ing thing.

This. For the real industry, and not he promoters out to make quick fame money, it lost its appeal long ago.
