Lol dude I obviously can find those particular definitions but I don't understand their application. Those were just terms to explain that I'm aware there is a lot that goes into producing and I'd like to know how to use and manipulate them all. I googled how to DJ plenty of times but kept getting BS paid lesson ads. Why keep pounding this issue? |

Okay, but you said "What hardware and software do I need and how do I learn the basics."
I really think you could find some answers. Did you check Youtube? Some video sometimes explain it better then written words.
Decide if you want to DJ or produce tracks. Probably it's best to start with one of both first.
DJ-ing you can learn much faster compared to producing tracks I would say. |

I'm at page 3, and started at the last one. Today I only use Youtube as I haven't posted a single video.... yet. |

I don't think it is a good thing he now thinks this place is not for him. Maybe he could have contributed a lot in the future.
And don't call that encouraging , because that is something it is not.
I really don't get why you defend behaviour like this when you in your earlier posts was against it, my message was not directed at you in any way. I already know why people are doing it, I just think there is better ways to tell someone to do some research.
Maybe I could have expressed myself a little different too. I just don't think it is productive to be rude just for the sake of it, you never know what sort of talent you scare away. |

| I'm hesitant to blame the culture of the forum. There has been a succession of egocentric personalities who've cluttered up these forums making it difficult to distinguish between who's a try-hard wannabe and who's actually willing to put in the work. I definitely understand the reception he was given even though it seems entirely misplaced. |
