Jack Moss - Ain't Nothing Going On But The Funk [Breakbeat Classics]

Since I put this up in MD, I figured I may as well share it here. I would have liked to have found some more tracks before I did a final version of it, but it was mainly done as a bit of fun anyway. Tracklist should explain itself: no real crate digging done here, almost all of these are big personal favourites, an array of late '80s and '90s classics, from the era when breakbeat ruled the world. For fans of tweaking acid, scratching, hard funk and choice samples.

i'm afraid i recognize a few names here (from the record shops), but i've never knowingly listened to them: lionrock, Herbaliser , The Sabres Of Paradise. so i'll definitely check this out.
SYSTEM-J
The Sabres and Lionrock are both very good acts in their own right, production aliases for two of the UK's finest DJs - Andy Weatherall and Justin Robertson. Here, however, their original sounds are remixed into block rockin' oblivion by the Chemical Brothers.
