I remembering seeing a kid opening for Paul Oakenfold at Rain maybe 1.5-2 years ago, I think he was like 13 or something. I don't really remember his style or if he was any good though.

the first thing i sort of wondered about was just the overall health effects especially hearing. I have a feeling the parent is dumb enough to mix childhood with clubbing that ear safety is not a concern.

oh well , not a choice i would make as a parent. My kids will be doing the piano and violin.

I didn't say that, but it's probably true. So many clueless dweebs bickering about that has nothing to do with the "scene".

They've probably never even done ecstasy at the Marcy.

Ugh.

Say what you really mean.

Tell me what you think that is.

Obviously sarcasm, but what're you getting at?
enydo
Getting you to respond?

Also, I guess vaguely hinting at the fact that not everyone is as blessed to live in a place where a scene actually exists.

What they do after 18 is their choice but I hope they have the common sense to mix the stimulant with an downer rather than 2 uppers. They should know better.

I would never hold that against anyone, I just find it sort of pathetic to make comments on a whole world of dance music based on an isolated incident.

Yea I dont think its a good idea for kids to be hammering their hearing. My ears suck at this point and I'm only 31. I can't imagine how much worse they'd be if I started 10 years sooner. Hopefully they find a savvy way to protect their ears with those custom db reducing earplugs or something along those lines. Plus, once they hit 15 or 16 years old, if they are still around doing gigs, you telling me they arent going to start hitting up the drugs at said parties sooner or later?
