I've been using 8 since the dev preview and fell in love with everything. If it cant start it automatically restores a registry backup it makes. It uses half the ram of 7 it shuts down in half the time and starts up super fast too. Gaming includes some direct 11.1 updates and it will the video card automatically to accelerate tasks. Everything just works it can be installed on a usb drive. the Task manaager now has heaps of information including drive speeds etc. The only people who wont like it are plebeian's In my opinion.
But Cookie Monster likes to steal your cake slice by slice as that is how he rolls

Yeh that pretty much sums up my response. I was very happy with 7, and I'm even happier with 8 than with 7.
For a start here's something I can do that isn't in any way possible in a previous version of windows:
I can put an app on the login screen that can only play music at parties that has no capability of deleting files or ing my music collection up in any way.

Wait, how does this work? Like it only becomes active if there are a sufficient amount of people in close proximity to both one another and Windows 8? Does Windows 8 have a human pheromone detector?
