Never tried mipt, but I did try the same in a dipt variety, better known under the name Foxy Methoxy. Which is ing weird. And felt like nothing else I've ever been on. And the series of event that unfolded after I took it, was nothing but whacky. Like really whack-a-doodle of another reality.
I think I'd try it again, but definitely with other people.

You getting these stuff off of Silk Road, or what?

25I turned out to be the like dumbest idea ever, my body hurt for no apparent reason for 3 days straight. Really not worth 7 hours of fun for 3 days of "EVERYTHING REALLY ING PISSES ME OFF AND I CANT SLEEP"

haha sounds lame. i remember i was having these weird flashes after an extended binge period on e's. they felt like lightning going through my body, flashing through my spine. about every 3-5 seconds. for a couple of weeks. it was ing hell. i would wait until they nearly dissapated, and i would almost instantly drift off to sleep. right before i take my second foot off the Awaken boat and onto the Sleep shore, a new lightning flashes through my body and I'm fully awake.

CALLING ALL WINDOWS 7 NINJAS - I NEED YOUR HELP.

So not to derail this thread as this is seriously off topic but I'm seeing some beefy MS credentials mentioned here and nothing I've searched for can fix this - serious props and my first born to anyone that can fix this.....

Long story short:

I have repurposed a touchscreen POS system (proprietary closed software running on XP Embed) to new software (internet browser based, Win7).

The wankers that I originally bought the system told me straight up they'd give me no help as they don't want me to quit their platform (challenge accepted).

So I've managed to get everything working (touchscreen, chipset, audio, internet...) except the receipt printer is driving me ing crazy.

Installed it fine, I set the defaults in the printer to the right format for the receipts etc, then also under the printer properties.

However, when ever I got to print a receipt, regardless of browser, the print preferences for the document are reset to other default settings, regardless of the defaults I have saved.

Even after printing that wonky receipt, I check the defaults and they are exactly what I set them to, so it's just windows7/any browser (ie,ff,chrome) I use that changes the print preferences for that one document.

Can anyone tell me how to force the printer preferences to behave? Reg edits etc?

What are your system specs like?

Disclaimer... you may not wish to publish your results on a public forum, I sure as hell am not going to on here. I post some of this info but not all of it.

OS name?
OS bit type? 64 bit or 32?
CPU?
GPU?
Sound Card? Bear in mind hardly anyone uses soundcards anymore.
Memory amount?
Memory speed?
Memory type? ddr2 or ddr3?
Has your system been overclocked by you?
Which components were overclocked? CPU? GPU? Ram? Moniter?
Has your system been overclocked by others? You may need to check this in BIOS?
What is the model of your motherboard?
What is the full name of the model of your motherboard?
What version of CPU drivers are you using?
What version of Graphics drivers are you using?
What other drivers are you using?
Are you using RAID?
If you are what type of RAID?
What sound drivers are you using?
Are you using RAID drivers?
Bear in mind the next few are highly sensitive info and even if you post the rest I wouldn't wanna post these publicly. Admitting to piracy on a public forum or even VIA PM probably is not a good move either.
What Antivirus do you use?
What windows security features do you use?
Is windows firewall turned on?
Are you using a custom version of windows?
Are you sure? If someone else installed your windows it may be and it may be pirated. This might not necessarily cause issues but sometimes it does so it needs to be asked.
What is the original source of the custom version?
If someone else installed it on your comptuer where did they get it from?
Do they even know?

I'd suggest filling that out a little bit at least.

I'm using windows 8 64 bit pro, I'm not posting anything else of mine personally.

Since you're such an excellent and well informed poster...

how about you

1. Copy and paste that list into a reply box
2. Delete all the lines think you are unecassary

or you can bypass steps 1 and 2 and go straight to winging. Thanks for your time you useless .

Probably, but asking some basic questions can't hurt too much.

and sorry I overreacted to your post, it was pretty fair enough, just that's not exactly the typical style of post around here.

I appreciate the offer of help but 99.9% of that list simply isn't needed for a generic printer driver issue.

It's win 7 Ult 32 bit. The printer is a Lubau Tm200plus Thermal receipt printer and I have the latest drivers 3.1.6 (although I've tried all the other versions) and it's connected via LPT port.

Here's the deal: The properties panel for the printer let's me set the papersize (till roll) and all other options like open cash drawer after document from very simple drop down menus.

I've set the preferences everywhere you can, and they go in fine and are remebered by windows they, work on a test page and even if I restart the preferences are saved.

Problem: When I use any browser to print, i get the windows printing dialog and it's completely ing reset the printer to the basic printer defaults - just for that document.

What I need is some way to force the print preferences (maybe alter the registry/HKEY?) for all documents.

I'd even go as far as getting in to the code for the driver itself to remove all the other print options I won't need.

Any help seriously appreciated as no one has been able to get near a solution.

Sometimes printer customization programs work independent of their drivers, or don't bother to do a simple test that that printer is indeed communicating with Windows via proper drivers.

You might still have a driver issue, even if you supposedly installed the drivers via the software CD that came with the printer or something. If you can navigate to your Control Panel->Hardware & Sound->Device Manager, and take a look at what printer device is connected to your computer, it might give you a better idea of whether you have the latest drivers or not by inspecting the properties of the connected Printer in that manifest, and updating the driver from there. (Assuming you hadn't already gone this route, of course)

lol, a thread where r5a calls people plebeians and spells it wrong.

Hey Gary... I've got a link for it right here. Links to the piratebay are blocked on tranceaddict so I've had to shorten it to a tinyurl.
