It's almost that time of the year..Lets hear some of your favorites people!
PS. I'm at work so will post mine tonight, I got too many ;-)
Nice to see so many has responded. I have been to quite few parties myself this year (and missed many) but there have been many memorable ones. I know the year is not over and there are quite a few coming up (hint: interface40) but we can add all those later ;-)
My favorite is:
CLR DEMF Afterparty / Collabs at Elysium Lounge - It was such a good techno set with a perfect venue, sound, lights, and people. I don't think the party could have been any better. T47 was playing downstairs during the whole thing and I didn't even go down for that. The only bad thing was that it ended too soon for many of us ;-/
Honorable Mentions:
BlkMarket / NYD 2012 with Alexi Delano & Kondrad Black B2B - what a proper way to kick off the new year
Pier 94 / Victor Calderone NYD 2012 - really liked this venue and calderone played a great set even though it ended too soon
BlkMarket / Ivan Shmagge - it was first time seeing ivan shmagge and fell in love with his sound, looking forward to seeing him again
Pacha / Chris Liebing - it was a great banging long set and s&b played a great opening set
SAMA / T47, Lucy - first time seeing T47 and he impressed A LOT of us that night. I wasnt too thrilled with Lucy but had a great time at this one
Bunker / Function, Silent Servant - Function's set was pretty amazing, silent servant i wasnt too impressed
BlkMarket / Butane,Kondrad Black - I wasn't crazy about the music at this party and thought sets were nothing special. What i loved about this one was that so many of us were there that night/morning and we all stayed until the end. It was a memorable day for many of us (especially lounger)
Resolute / Rooftop Party, Alexi Delano & Elon B2B - We went to this few hours after the Blkmarket Butane party. Chilling at the rooftop then moving downstairs for Delano was a treat.
Basic / Jeff Mills (LPR) - He changed my look on techno music that night, seeing him with the 909 was a total treat.
EDC 2012 / Neon Garden - It was the best birthday weekend ever, thanks to Sleepy&Boo for my guest passes. John Digweed wished me a happy birthday and signed my shirt and it cant get no better than that. Oh and the music was pretty awesome at Neon Garden. And hanging backstage and doing techno tailgate party with some of you was pretty awesome. I hope we can do this again ;-)
DEMF 2012 / Festival - It was the first time I was attending a festival outside NYC. What a great weekend that was and boy did we have some fun! I saw many artists that weekend so can't name them all right now ;-) Oh and the afterparties were fun too...
BlkMarket / Ben Klock & Marcel Dettmann - Like many of you said, this was a real treat and one of my favorites of the year. Vibe was also pretty awesome at this one
SAMA / Brian Sanhaji, Drumcell - I was really impressed with Sanhaji and had a great time at this one (even though Sullivan did get a bit too hot)
Gov Island / S&B, DT, JD - This was fun! I wasn't too thrilled with the sets myself personally but had a great time chilling with everyone
Basic / Ben Sims - It was a proper set by Ben Sims, who has been one of my fav producers of 2012.
Basic / Monoloc - I know many of you didn't show up but I thought this was one of the best techno sets of the year.
Resolute / Sunday Mass with Butane, Dandy Jack - This was probably the most unique and special party of the year. I wasn't too crazy about Butane last time I saw him but he totally killed it at this one with Dandy Jack. Hoping for more of these by Resolute!
Basic / Jeff Mills (loft) - Jeff Mills performing in his white coat with the 909 was again pretty spectacular. Many of us came after Sasha party was shut down so this really kept everyone going.
BlkMarket / Barem - I see this one hasn't been mentioned but this was one of my favorite sets of the year. Gaiser was ok but nothing too special for me but Barem, ohh mann.. I'm looking forward to checking him out again!
SAMA / Brood Nights - It was a small turnout but Angel Costa & DJ Emerson played amazing sets. It was also a very intimate party which I loved and it was straight up CLR SON!!
Basic / Cari Lekebusch & Josh Wink - I have been wanting to see Cari for the longest time and glad it finally happened after he had the cancel the previous date. He played a great set and really enjoyed it. But I had no idea what was coming for me until Josh Wink came on. This is probably one of my favorite sets of the year along with Klock&Dettman and Collabs. He wasnt out there to play the biggest hits and play fillers. Josh Wink was on a mission that morning and he taught me a lesson on djing. I approached him and told him I have never heard a set like his before and his answer to that was "Why Not?"
Resolute / Martinez Brothers - I don't think I have danced this much before. I could not stop moving during their set, their set was so energetic and fun.
I'm looking to many upcoming parties like Interface 40 and Cielo / Reboot so hoping to update my list again. And I have to say my biggest disappointment was Eric Prydz at Beekman Beach Club.

The Resolute party that took place in the basement of a church earlier this year takes the cake. Might even be the best party of my life so far. Mark's review in the following link sums it up nicely...

uhhh ok time to throw some variety into this mix with my all-over-the-place taste haha.
I would also like to add that a couple of these are thrown in not because they were the best sets evar, but because of other factors that made the parties really really fun.
