Markus at Pacha in Feb and May was absolutely brilliant. As much as I dislike Pacha's environment, it's undeniable that Markus ing killed it.
John Digweed + Danny T at Governors was excellent. Diggers @ System was great too.
Best party of the year, by far, was Luminosity in Mass with J00F. It was extraordinary. |

I had to look at my RA diary for some assistance. My list is long but it was hard to narrow it down more than this, there are a couple more upcoming things that are good but if it isn't on the internet, not mentioning it
- blkmarket/resolute New Year- Stacey Pullen, Konrad Black, New York favorite Alexi Delano, and Quenum. We're also bringing you the debut live set of Lightbluemover vs. Black Light Smoke, Francis Harris (aka Adultnapper) and Jordan Lieb, seriously good, vibe was perfect, and it kept going like it's supposed to
- blkmarket- Craig Richards and Ivan Smagghe, seriously good and Ivan Smagghe played MJC/Apines Why for a hot minute woot
- "adventures in the deep" lol Maya Jane Coles and Sven Wiesemann, limited event, super fun, Maya was really good and Sven impressive
- blkmarket Carl Craig, Francesco Tristano and Moritz von Oswald, this was on another level, hello Yamaha baby grand in the warehouse
- Nicolas Jaar live PS1, very different type of event, experimental and interesting
- blkmarket Drumcode Adam Beyer, Ida Engberg and Alexi Delano, Ida owned it
- blkmarket Ben Klock, mostly because of some hilarious things lol
- Denize Kurtel @Marcy, fun party and the infamous installation, too bad I can't post the installation's nickname here lol
- Basic Jeff Mills Axis 20, Mills at his best AND he gave some of us a written letter, thanking us for supporting him, who does that??
- resolute On The Boat/Ship of Fools Tone of Arc aka Dead Seal, Seph, Francis Harris, Elon, Connie, seriously good and the afterparty was solid
- Bandwagon, ok not totally an event but there have been a few notable bandwagon nights this year- Francis Harris, Butane, and the Bill Patrick/TiNI, unfortunately had to tune in for the last
- resolute On The Barge, mostly because the venue was so outlandish I wondered if I needed a tetanus booster
- Time to Get resolute Tale of Us, DJ Tennis that boat party set the standard for boat parties and we wore tiaras
- Soul Skate Moodyman(Detroit), I can not stress enough HOW AMAZING THIS WAS, Moodyman, soul food, skating with techno originators
- Circoloco(Detroit) serious lineup even though the city wouldn't let them play into the night, restarted in the morning
- Old Miami(Detroit)what the is all to say
- blkmarket anniversary weekend, part one and two
- Marcy Hotel, Extravaganza Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap, Slow Hands, No Regular Play, Tanner Ross, Voices of Black and Smirk, good good good and Demf reunion
- blkmarket Osgut Ton night, besides Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, Nick Hoppner played Fleetwood Mac and there were bubbles, yea
- blkmarket/resolute Dixon and Ame, amazing
- Alexi Delano and Friends after party, Alexi's set equally amazing
- Basic, Allan Fitzpatrick, he destroyed the room, packed to the walls and his status update the next day mentioned it was one of his best parties ever
End of year projections-
Cocoon Heroes Into the Magic- Onur Özer, Tobi Neumann, Andre Galluzzi, Taimur & Fahad
Deep Space- Francois K and Radio Slave
blkmarket- Nothing Special with Craig Richards
Droid Behavior- Drumcell, Truncate aka Audio Injection, Raiz, Jeff Derringer, Taimur
CLR Residency- Monoloc, Rebekah
Basic- Paul Rich
Basic- Perc, Tony Rohr
NYE- hands down, blkmarket Alexi Delano, Joel Mull, Butane and it says more on RA |

marcel dettman, guy gerber, nic fanciulli and joris voorn @ space miami in the middle of the summer.
dettman banged it out in the techno loft. gerber played the terrace from 1-3ish. nic from 3-5. nic b2b joris 5-7. joris then played sunrise at 7am until about 2 in the afternoon. paid $20 :crazy: |

| I wanted to go to that but I think we were supposed to see Reboot twice in Miami that next week so said, it. Ended up only seeing him once though, not enough. |

true @ circoloco in the D..idk how that one slipped my mind. and they knocked down the wall, so that created a lot more space. sucks it ended around 3-4ish...but at 8-9am(?) we was back in full effect- starvingg for beats!
if it's ONE party I regret missing out on...well, two..okay, three..would be 1) francis harris/clockwork- heard they threw down Lovework, I could've been struck by lighting right there and than and died a happy camper 2) carl craig w/ tristiano & moritz, and 3) and Moodymann Soul Skate! :whip: :whip: |
