Also, right before the show, one of my friends sold her tix on stubhub for $800 each so that made me feel like an idiot for being there haha

They had tickets at the door for 75 LOL

I thought the set was decent enough. I didn't go in expecting too much though. I think the scene just bothers me now though. The crowd was young. There wasn't much room to actually dance except by the bar but again, that's expected at this point.

It's just too much yolo for me now. Oh well.

It's never too much yolo dude.

800 each? Did it involve any other favors? I'm impressed

Stop complaining.... Besides the ridiculous line to get in but it was moving quickly.

If you let the crowd really bother you every time you go out. Then why even buy tickets.I walked right up front. Had no problem all night. Yeah there are douchebags but just ignoren them. You really cant let people you not know bother you that much. I saw a bunch of smoke shows all over the place. And Roseland is to small for that big of a dj so of course its going to be packed. But the system fills that place out!!

For me that was one of the my favorite nights of music. Bayer played a perfect set as an opener for A&B. And honestly there is just something different about the music that A&B plays. I know we have been hearing Alchmey for almost 3 years now but I still love that track. Their new remixs of those Group Therapy tracks are prosuced very well with that distinct A&B sound. There was no cheese whatsoever and few classics I have never heard live. I would love to see the track list, if anyone can put one together.

We go out to enjoy the music we all love and be with your group of friends who like music just as much as you do. And that's exactly what happened last night! I wish they would make more stops in NYC!!!

Damn, who are these pple willing to pay 800 for a couple of hours of Above & Beyond. Must be all rich LI kids or something. I'm a long-time fan of A&B and I won't pay more than 80 for them. If Soundprank or Jaytech were opening I might have considered it but even so..

I saw GA tickets being sold for 1100 on stubhub just a couple of hours before the event & I thought that was funny. But it's not, there's actually pple buying the tickets at these prices. The economy is still in the ter but the EDM industry is apparently booming, lol. These stubhub resellers probably don't need full-time jobs with the money they pull in. Buying a ticket for 62 and selling it for 800? Wow. Business is only getting better for them, which means they're going to buy out all future EDM events coming up.

Any chance Satellite got popped in to the set? I really miss that track from the mid 2000s

mine says $62 on it, don't remember fees being that much (on the fan presale that is).

The original 'tier' was $45 I believe before fees and taxes. By the time I was able to purchase it was already up to the third tier starting at $60-65 somewhere.

Lol yup. Saw this all over FB too when people started arriving. Heard the lines to get in after 1100 sucked.

I think people really underestimate the amount of wealthy people in and around Manhattan. And it's not always mommy and daddys money either. I know a lot of people where $800 is just not that much money.

line: got there @ about 10:30, major trepidation when I saw that around the block wrap. that being a good place to cut in,did. it was surprisingly fast from there, prob no more than 20 min. have waited way longDr from further up, maybe the doubled frisk line helped.
figure by 11 place was 2/3 full, maybe a little less, strange that it got worse after...
Bayer was def. good, worth a lot of the tix.

cant complain too much about the crowd, didn't find it too bad overall.
theres always room on the carpet out back, sound there is ok.

what I don't get are the people on the VIP risers, who actually sit and chat for much of the time: if you're that bored, why go?

thought A&B was fun enough, didn't do anything offensive.
I can do without the messages, greetings, etc on the screen, juvenile

did anyone go to Resolute' s 100th? Jan Kruger threw a quality 4+h set til 8:30, mostly vinyl and no Apple in sight, good.

From some feedback I've been reading, their sets at Philly and the night after in NYC were almost exactly the same.
