with some refinement I think he could be great at it.

No way man. This is so far below even the most average burialstep/future garage clones that have popped in the last few years.

Well it's also his first attempt. I mean even if you hate the guys music you have to admit he is a good sound designer. I think he knows that too because he is giving it away

The production seems fine but conceptually it's total . You need subtlety to make ambient-ish music and he just doesn't have it.

MAYBE IF HE ADDS MORE TURNTABLE STATIC

Because only Burial makes dubstep without "yois?" It sounds more like plenty of other older dubstep artists.

Dude have you even HEARD the analog static on Burial tracks. It's ing ART.

Yeah, older dubstep artists that also sound like Burial. Give me some examples of these older dubstep artists. I have no problem with this track, I actually don't dislike it, it's just boring as and completely contrived.

russell you need some new material. Good luck with that.
srussell0018
He already gave you two examples earlier in the thread. Do they not teach you how to read at Georgia Tech?

enydo
You are such a try-hard, you know that right?

Benga and Skream? That's what he thinks this sounds like?
srussell0018
Apparently. You asked him to post examples when he already had.

Somebody should change the genre of Burial's music to COOLstep. Because you have to be so ing COOL to like it. It brings me back to the days where I listened to my EDM on my phonograph.
