Im looking forward to this one, will definitely be there. Id imagine a very similar set to his last one at Cielo ( will be amazing to hear his Battleships remix again , been one of my current addictions ).

Has anyone here been to Output yet? Any chance we could get an in depth review? All I've been able to find is one decent write up on yelp.

Not been inside, but whats been going around about the line does not look good.
A friend did Resolute last night, 1 hour.
Again.
Thought the opening wknd might've been a fluke, but seems not
Actually saw this line going into BBowl for RJD2, and saw it again leaving.
So, same at 10ish and 2 hours later.
Have seen two sep. refs about cap. being 500 or so, still such lines, seems intentional (esp. when compare to BBowls line-time.

REALLY beginning to dread this for Sasha, still hoping for extra make-up line

The place is awesome. As long as you have a ticket or get there really early it's not really a problem getting in. The only people that say anything bad about the place are retards that show up at 12-1 when the place is already at capacity. It holds probably around 700-1000 people. It's easily the best club in NYC. The sound is unreal.

does it act in typical manhattan club fashion or should I expect to walk in like it's the bunker

Supposedly one of my friends went for life n death. She got there at 10 but they wouldnt let anybody in until 1030. Apparently her friends waited over an hour and they just bounced.

Edubbz said that he got in within 20 mins.

We should all meet up a little early for this one so that doesn't happen

As long as you have tickets you shouldn't have a problem. You'll probably wait a bit just cause their door is pretty slow. They only had 2 people checking tickets and a few hundred people lined up outside, so yea things were pretty slow. The GA line for life and death was pretty brutal. After the ticketed people and DJs guest list people, not too much room for GA. They let some GA but it was beyond freezing so the slow GA line seemed like hell for those people. So many people showed up for that party and it hit capacity pretty quick. Place def isn't huge, but once inside its worth the wait. There is no dress code or anything like that. One of the bouncers outside was a dick but that's the only bad thing I can say about the place.

Good to know.
And just now BLK wrote:
"If advance ticket holders had a separate line for Life and Death showcase then consider the same for this night from 10pm till 12am"

Sounds good, esp. seeing poin about A-tix!

And that was my point too:
whether by design or simple oversight, this doesn't HAVE to be the case, which is why I think it's often intentional.
Not saying that's so here, how would I know, but some of this does seem a little Manhattan-ish...

[while on it, 1st time @ Marquee on Fri. Nice package all around
But who the hell sized that coatroom? Could it be any smaller? Who plans these things, anyway?]

Fair enough, if full and more want in than can be admitted.

Not "seem", it was.
Was outfront at BBowl for a few minutes, and that was enough.
At least the people online at Output got to hear a bunch of RJD2s amazing set spilling outside. Hope they paid attention.

the legal capacity is 452, for what it's worth.

That article has some other good points too, even if a bit outdated...}

The place def fits closer to 700/800 I would say.

Everyone at the club was super nice other than this one outside bouncer. He was some black dude and just barking orders around. His job was to keep the sidewalk open or some .....very low tier bouncer who thought he was important.

I got there at the worst time and managed to get in about 20min.

The place has such a nice vibe. Amazing what a no photo policy and low lighting can do. And by low lighting I mean it. Upstairs it was so dark at times, I ing loved it...so shady :)

No. Just don't take pics with it or they'll go through it, delete pics and kick your ass out.
