hey, another interesting thing that the lady from alberta mentioned was that, while alberta has such a great economy, they also have the highest level of per capita credit card debt in canada.
and.. your economy won't last forever, because it's based on the oil fields up north, which are going to dry up sometime in the next 20-50 years. |

when I got out of cegep (technical college lets say) with a 3 years degree, I got a job right away making 30K. stayed there for a year then got fed up because the managment wasn't fulfilling its promess of giving me a raise... (long story)
went back to university, then worked for a while as tech support making 36K, while absolutely doing nothing related to my degree...
left that boring job to complete my bachelor(finishing in decembre) and all I'm hearing now is that salaries are about 25-30K for IT people with a bachelor!?!?! WTF happened? I mean this is about 12-15$/hour!! A security guy (non armed) with a high school diploma makes 14$/h starting salary doing absolutly nothing but watching sexy chicks passing by :)
This is fubar, thats why I dont want stay here anymore... looking for a job anywhere in Europe except the UK. |

I was setting some things straight. But if you had took the time saying that for example the tests were ultra sounds then I wouldn't commented on that. You are 100% right about those... the system is ed at the moment.
The forums were meant for discussion and expressing opinions, if all you want to hear is people saying stuff you want to hear then just buy yourself a ing parrot and thats it man. You have a bad attitude here and its not the first time, always bitching in the Montreal forums.

I was watching some show, and they were talking about new technology that they are using to extract oil from the sand, and apparently alberta has about 2/3 the amount of oil that Iraq has....if that dries up in 20-50 years then the world is ed for gas, not just alberta.
