Your argument is so ing stupid.
Looney4Clooney
don't think that was an argument you ing twit. I do appreciate your clever 1 liners tho. What is the ing point ? You are ing noise,
enydo
Yeah, you're definitely not making any sort of argument. I'm just a twit.
Looney4Clooney
great. now off.
Dj Pluviose
Lol you guys are so British... your sarcasm and your twits ;D

I only play Trance. I play classic era and gateway era Trance. Sometimes I warm up my mixes with a bit of 130 BPM nu-House crap to get the crowd familiar with their songs that is trendy to them but I always play authentic Trance at the end.

the technique gurus arent critiquing my tracklist, they are throwing bitch fits cuz I'm just sitting there transitioning songs, playing with knobs and figuring out what next song will wipe the crowd

basically you can call me DJ Tiesto as humiliating as it sounds but I'm really just into throwing a good party
Looney4Clooney
pretty sure they aren't gurus and i'm also pretty sure they are just looking at your shirt with contempt.
rubez
what else is there to do with trance, other than to transition it?

it isn't suited to effects at all. any guru would know that.

must be the t-shirt :haha:

L4C is the king of not understanding what an argument is.
Looney4Clooney
a statement is not an argument you dumbass. Premises without a conclusion is not an argument

let me help you out

Russel's fiance is fat
guys dating fat girls are poor
Therefore Russel is a closet homosexual.
srussell0018
the premises and conclusion of your argument are both not valid and unsound.

You're making the argument that black musicians "age better" than white musicians. That is an argument, which you didn't just state once, you posted examples to support your original claim (premises anyone?). You chose examples to use as premises to prove the conclusion that you had regarding black vs. white musicians.

Thanks for playing.

It was a poor argument, I'll give you that, but an argument nonetheless.

there is this sort of cutoff in terms of being too good that you sacrifice taste in the process

This seems to be true of most of the music you regard as "good".

my statement was not against a point. Therefore not an argument.
i like mahler. you like idiot pop music. You don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to taste. You listen to niche EDM and mainstream everything else. Your barometer of music is so ing shallow in scope, to even have a discussion regarding taste when you are so ing inept in that department in every single facet is just a waste of time. ANd you were a fan of harddance ala tidy. That pretty much precludes you from having any say on what is good and what isn't. That is something you just can't ignore or say never happened. It did and it did for a reason. Either you were a drug addled prancing raver that missed the whole scene or you have extremely bad taste.

I make a living doing commercial / pop music. You don't do that if you passed that threshold mentioned and think 7/8 is over played and that every track needs a saxophone solo.
