I sometimes wonder about companies like Nord and Waldorf (for example).
They seem to concentrate on building products that people don't want while handicapping ones that could have been good. |

| nord 1 & 2 are classics, hopefully they can make a synth like that, with a simple sequencer, efex and usb. im still waiting for a good hardware synth, im still considering monomachine but it seems so ing complicated. |

| I thought about the Elektron stuff, but I don't dig that workflow. Seems like to many multi function knobs and shift-presses. It's almost like they deliberately hanicap one of their products so you buy the other ones as well. You'd think it was an American company.... |

Bumping this to report that the Prophet 12s are shipping and the people who preordered them will be receiving theirs soon.
Anybody else GASsing for one? I'm very seriously considering selling my Virus TI2 and buying a P12 and a Snow. |

I am currently in a legal battle connected to the sale of my flat, so I have postponed all GAS for the foreseeable.
The legal bill as it stands is about £6k, and no progress has been made.
Yay for me. |

you didnt pay taxes or something? or advertise the bathroom as mint? i dont know if its normal in other countrys but here it is normal to buy a ownershipchange-insurance when you sell so that they cant take for things like that years after. you buy as is and if its any problems with that insurance take it, youre free of all responsibility and its a one time insurance price, best value insurance ever. u litteraly buy freedom with it. |

i'm in a very difficult situation right now regarding my career - I recently relocated from Tennessee to Texas (which cost a lot) and the Texas Board of Nursing wants to open an investigation into my license that will take 8 months because of a public intoxication charge (that the Tennessee board cared nothing about) - I'm working under a temporary license that expires in 1 month and if I don't have my permanent license by then (which seems HIGHLY unlikely, the attorney I spoke to said I was ed and didn't even offer to attempt anything and steal my money) then I lose my job AND don't have a nursing license. (Tennessee inactivated my nursing license when I declared Texas my "Home State" in order to receive my temporary license here)....And I also take very important medication that costs over $1000 a month, and without a license I won't have a job, and without a job I won't have insurance, and without an insurance or a job I won't be able to afford $1000 monthly medication....
so yea....gear unfortunately is not at the top of my list...
but, if the board of nursing here wasn't trying to ruin my life, I would probably be looking into a budget modular system. (if such thing exists) |
