I drove by the property yesterday. It's only 10 minutes from my work. I only live 40 minutes away, but we are getting rooms along the Interstate, several small towns with economy hotels are within 12 miles.
As you approach the entrance, there are three roads from 3 opposite directions that can get you to the last turn to their dead end road.
There are long stretches of grass shoulder along a wooded road as you lead up to it that may support a good bit of cars not moving.
It's also right along the Chattahootchee river. Bugs could be bad, bring spray! *joking* We may Kayak down from Hwy 92 and throw beers ashore!! lol
How will they secure such a large area surrounded by woods and a major river?
Dreamville passes enable you reentry if you leave during the middle of the day I think right? Regular tickets are no re-entry correct?
We are pumped, all getting tickets Saturday!

I'm sure they will fence it off like Coachella and Tomorrowland.

Sorry, but living in a tent for several days in middle of nowhere in Georgia heat with thousands of other people does not sound like my idea of fun lol.

lineup didn't instill enough confidence in me to actually buy the tickets.
for 300 bucks I can get VIP and drink for free at Wavefront in CHICAGO...in one of the sickest neighborhoods of the city...on the beach....with an amazing lineup.
Or you can spend 350 and party in rural Georgia. Lol. They probably will come out with a mindblowing lineup but I didn't see enough evidence that they actually would, nor do they need to (tix sold out in 2 hours).

The venue is actually pretty phenomenal as is the weather at this time of year. Last year on the exact dates at this very piece of land it got down to about 45 at night and 75 during the day and no humidity. Absolutely perfect IMHO.

I did hear from everyone that went to counterpoint last year that it was epic and the weather and vibe was on point.

Weather should be phenomenal. Not a guarantee of course since the year did start off a little out of whack with winter lasting a few more weeks than usual. But assuming summer comes and goes like it has in the past, ya'll will get to enjoy some nice autumn GA weather.
For those of you worried about traffic, just make sure you stay outside of i-285. Sounds like most of you were already planning that though since I'm reading Fairburn and Douglasville a good bit in these threads. I'd stick to that train of thought, get a hotel south of Douglasville sort of already on the way.

I'm also going to link this...just in case ya'll didn't know about it. Might get more local feedback if ya need it, posting in the ATL section.
