Hahaha, oddly enough I had a feeling you would like that one. I fully said to myself "For some reason I can picture Stu saying this one looks good."
I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE, STU. |

| Fyi, there is a recipe for both gazpacho and borscht in the book, if anyone wants me to scan + post those (another time though, I'm all scanned out, lol). I think there may also be another cold soup or two... |

Dude, Jenny, ing amazeballs.
Gonna try them all.
Also @ Selma: That also looks equally tasty. I'll follow Hal's recipe earlier in the thread, minus the "special" ingredient. I'll just experiment and add my own, see what happens :p |

Carrots, celery, etc. Cook them till their done, then add the chicken pieces back in. Eat. |
Amen brother. There is nothing in this world like chicken soup, made from real stock with barley.
It is even now accepted as medicine:

Chicken soup is good for the cold, not just the soul. Using an in-depth laboratory analysis of old-fashioned chicken soup, a team of medical researchers explored the science behind the broth’s reputation as salvation for the sniffly. Dr. Stephen Rennard, a pulmonary expert at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, found evidence the soup contains anti-inflammatory properties that may help prevent a cold’s miserable side effects. |

| Chicken soup combats the cold/flu because of the bone marrow in it. |
