An adsr plugin, does it exist?

Do you know of a plugin which allows you to manage the envelope of audio samples?
In Cubase, I find it really annoying trying to make it right by draging those handles.
Would've been much easier if I could have a proper adsr.

Drum samplers like Battery or Groove Agent are not really what I'm looking for, cause routing and menaging midi tracks takes too much in terms of time.
clay
compressors can do that

Check out xfer LFOtool..

You can rewire Monark to accept audio inputs, and then you can just use the VCA as an ADSR volume env.

EDIT: i.e. reaktor

Sounds like you are looking for a transient designer.

this or Cableguys volume. CG volume is probably cheaper and better in many ways for just volume changes.

Great! This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm checking the "VolumeShaper" and "Cableguys Curve 2" to choose one of the two.

Thanks to Clooney and those who replied. This will definitely help to speed up my work!

curve2 is a synth. Its ok. They really left out some needed features and the wave oscillators seem to overcompensate for aliasing and they sound a little dull.

If you happen to have Kontakt, you should check out "The Shell" from Hollow Sun, which basically is a blank sample interface with envelopes and LFOs. Cheap, too (8 pounds).

The Shell is a unique thing in that it’s an empty Kontakt instrument which allows YOU to put YOUR samples into it and have a fully functional, professionally scripted and designed panel at your disposal for sonic tweakage. Ideal if you make your own samples/sounds but aren’t able to do scripting or find it difficult.

Sorry but what is exactly Kontakt? Is it like a "container" for various plugins? Why do you really need that? Can't they release the plugin directly instead of inducing you to buy "kontakt" as well?

Kontakt is a sampler plugin from Native Instruments that plays back its own sample libraries and third-party libraries. I wouldn't run out and buy it just for your purposes though. I just figured that, if you already happened to own Kontakt (it's bundled with Komplete or available separately), The Shell would be another cheap option that will do what you're looking for. The Shell is not a standalone instrument, it's only available as a Kontakt instrument, well more like a custom interface that allows the user to easily access some of Kontakt's parameters without using its scripting language.

FL Studio has an ADSR plugin. It's native (not VST) and is called Fruity Envelope Controller.
