My fave parties were:
#1 Canada Day 2004 with Danny Tenaglia.
#2 Brent Hayward 9 hour set in the Redux lounge in May of 2005 with Demi in the main room.
#3 Catching Chus and Ceballos for the first time ever on May of 2004.
#4 X-Tend your New Years 2005 with Morales, Chus and Ceballos, Demi, Cevin Fisher, etc
#5 Opening Night with Sander K in December of 2003. Wow, how time flies!

I didn't go there too mant times but the sound system in that place was one of the best I've ever heard to this day.
Anthony Pappa sometime in 2004? don't think he played in Toronto since. |

Loving this series by Denise Benson.
I miss Boa. DT on Canada Day. Demi's residency. Some of my favourite local djs. That soundsystem and the "sweet" spot. The friendly staff who actually loved the music. Walking out midday (or later) into Chinatown, so on cloud 9 that I couldn't even feel the pavement. Met some amazing friends there, danced my ass off, smiled entirely too much and experienced musical euphoria.

You didn't need an ID to get into Boa; they didn't sell alcohol.
